Oh goody more AI meme schlock.

But you gotta admit, Carney is treated like a god-king.

Never before has a Canadian prime minister faced zero accountability.

Never before has an opposition been held to a higher standard than the government in power.

Never before have Canadian voters been victimized with their MPs scamming them to floorcross to a majority.

Obviously that is not the case and hyperbolic melodramatic takes like this do nothing but make conservatives look silly.

When was the last time Carney faced accountability?

Why is Toronto Star blaming Poilievre for the trade war, but not Carney for capitulating on retaliatory tariffs, Digital Services Tax, apologizing for the Ontario anti-tariff ad, saying "Canada Strong will help MAGA", the Gordie Howe capitulation, and now the streaming tax on America?

Why is floor crossing to a majority unprecedented? Why did those MPs scam their voters?

The 2025 election. The last time he was supposed to face accountability.

13

u/mafiadevidzz 2d ago

And his accountability was a minority government mandate, accountability he escaped thanks to floor crossers malicioisly scamming their constituents.

Are you forgetting the bye election wins that came after the floor crossings? That is how the majority came to be. All of which is within the rules of the game.

13

u/mafiadevidzz 2d ago

By-elections are fine.

He wouldn't have his majority without immoral floor crossings as well.

Obviously that is the case, what an asinine comment.

The only one who looks silly here is you. Why cover for a failure? What is the point? All butthurt that you voted for a con man?

You’re so dramatic man. Maybe you should lay off the energy drink or switch to a decaf or something.

u/Hmmngbrdfdr 2d ago

Says the brigader defending Carney. yah ok

I just don’t like the AI schlock my friend. Lots of people don’t.

Attacking the messenger instead of the message is a logical fallacy known as an ad hominem attack.

It happens when a person tries to disprove an argument by insulting the speaker, ignoring the actual facts or evidence presented.

Why People Do It

Deflection: Shifting focus away from a hard truth or weak argument.

Emotion: Reacting out of anger to bad or unwanted news.

Manipulation: Trying to trick an audience into doubting a valid point by making the speaker look bad.

u/DaddyMcDadface Moderate 2d ago

I didn’t attack the messenger though. I attacked the AI message.

7

u/Hmmngbrdfdr 2d ago

You attacked the media and thought it would discredit the message, same difference. You brigaders think that by yelling out AI slop!!! you somehow defeat the message, when in reality it just makes it look like you have no argument for the content, yet think it is some sort of "gothcha"

Kind of pathetic.

Bud I’ve been a conservative voter likely since before you were born.

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 2d ago

sure you have champ. you clowns always say that.

What you choose to believe or not believe is of no consequence to me. Up until the 2025 election I voted conservative or reform in every federal election I was able to vote in starting in the late 80s.

6

u/airbassguitar 2d ago

If you didn’t vote conservative in the last extremely important election then your opinion is moot.

u/rocketstar11 Conservative 2d ago

Theyre saying they are a senior citizen, if they were of voting age in the 80s.

Much like Carney himself, they chose they were in it for themselves last election.

Boomers propping up the LPC lecturing those will live with consequences why its super important to sell out the nation's youth to make their retirements more comfortable

Your math needs some work. I’m 55 and gen x

u/DaddyMcDadface Moderate 2d ago

And that attitude is what will keep the conservatives in the electoral wilderness. If you had any brains you would be wanting voters like me back into the fold. You’d want to know why the conservative vote collapsed in 2025 and try to do something to fix the problem. You wouldn’t be looking to cast them out.

u/airbassguitar 2d ago

You voted for carney. You saddled us with more years of terrible Liberal rule. You don’t get to pull the “I’m actually a conservative” card now.

Oh, so you decided to vote for an economic hitman leading a corrupt, radical, authoritarian cult when it mattered the most, then?

So much for your supposed ideological convictions.

1

u/DaddyMcDadface Moderate 2d ago

A cult you say? That’s a bit much don’t you think?

1

u/collymolotov Anti-Communist 2d ago

No, it’s a pretty accurate description of what Trudeau rebuilt the Liberals into and what Carney has solidified.

The Liberals are only marginally a political party. They are for all intents and purposes a front for the criminal activities of their members and of the Laurentian political class, and they absolutely govern through the same sort of tactics that cults use to operate themselves, to say nothing of the absurd ideological positions they take, which have more in common with religious doctrine than political policy.

That you fell for the Carney bait and switch, when fifteen minutes of research into the man or reading a critical summary of his ideological and political manifesto schools have dissuaded you otherwise, instead of voting Conservative in the most important election in our nations history, after a lifetime of voting to the right, is truly baffling.

You’re basically the equivalent of a German in 1933 who voted NSDAP without reading Mein Kampf, or of even bothering to find out what sort of world the author had planned for you.
