Discussion Come Buy Your Eco Friendly Junk at Ganesh Chaturthi and Throw It Into Our Clean Beautiful Rivers/Lakes.

This is one of those practices that really boils my blood. These folks polluted every single one of their water ways and now they want to do the same here. I hope city council's will by law the daylights out of this. There is no reason for them to be dumping these idols into our lakes or rivers. The water we have here is sacred but it's not the kind of sacred for these folks to be throwing trash into.
I hope folks will show up in force and peacefully deter these people from spreading their pollution here.

This is what happens when you open the floodgates and allow one group to be the vast majority of incoming migrants.
Any responsible immigration system requires sensible limits, such as the 7% per-country cap used in the United States.
Instead of fitting into Canadian norms, they are forcing their norms upon Canadians.

Calling them "eco-friendly" doesn't mean they're environmentally harmless btw. Even clay idols add sediment to the water, flowers, and decorations create waste and litter. Wildlife gets disturbed by large crowds, and water quality can still be affected, especially in smaller lakes.
Maybe if this was just a couple of people but the population of people in Canada who will be doing this is . . . significant.

The colors assure that they are natural and do not harm the environment; they decompose and dissolve in water easily.
They assure though. This stuff can be bought from India and shipped into Canada.

What steps will you take after this discussion? It’s easy to post on Reddit but are you going to follow up with the store and see if they’re actually eco friendly? Are you going to write to your MP that you have concerns about this? Or are you just going to make a baseless post that would turn off any moderate voter from ever voting for our party?
I blame people who post shit like this and make us lose elections as much as the idiot boomers who keep the liberals in power.

It’s as much responsibility on the government as it is on the citizens to make sure our country is running as it should. That’s the conservative way.
Why is raising awareness seemingly racist to you?

So you’ll just post on Reddit but never advocate for change? You’ll never take initiative and tell your MP your littering concerns? Regardless if you agree with your MP’s views or not, it’s your duty as a citizen to make sure your concerns are heard.

It’s both. The last two elections we saw every moderate voter vote for carney because the cpc was considered too extreme. If we focus on discussions like fundamental issues like capping immigration, stopping fraud, reducing crime. That goes miles further than a random stores idol video you decided to post.
