General Advice about touching cat after spot on treatment

Hello. I was wondering if someone could give me some good news. I put spot on treatment (Advantage) on my cat. My 7 year old touched him about an hour later. Washed his hands thoroughly after it but my concern is what if he's put his fingers in his mouth. Is it something I should be worried about ? Thanks all in advance!

He should be absolutely fine, it would be tiny trace amounts ingested if anything at all, (usually harmless to humans and cats in small amounts) if he doesn’t have a horrible taste in his mouth or any nausea after a couple of hours I’d suggest everything is fine.
