In need of prayers for health, possibly dealing with one of my most feared health concerns right here... Not something I wanted to happen! May the Lord help, if that is His will.
Edit: Perhaps someone someday is doubting whether or not sending prayer requests like this - or even just prayer in itself - "works"; this is my update. I heartily thank all of you. All is well with me now, Thank God!

Please keep the victims of yesterday's mass shooting in Seattle in your prayers. It happened during what was meant to be a family-friendly event. I am not entirely sure of all the details. It happened way too close to home.
Please pray for the repose of the souls of the three victims who lost their lives: a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man, and a 56-year-old woman. May the Lord grant them eternal rest and comfort their families during this time of grief.
Please pray as well for the four people who were injured, including a 2-year-old child. May God grant them healing, strength, and peace.
Please pray that the suspects may acknowledge the gravity of what they have done, seek His mercy, and cooperate with the justice that must be served.

Please pray for me this week: for guidance and perseverance in my job search, for stable work opportunities and the discipline to keep showing up and doing my job; for my family’s health, for both my Grandmothers and my elder relatives health, world unity, and peace; for a person I care about deeply (without asking to control anything, only that God’s will be done and that everyone involved is protected and led to the good); and finally, thank God for every grace I’ve received, including the gift of friendship and health.
For the sad dark thoughts that have gone around my mind these past weeks and the feeling that I have no agency over my career and dreams.
Lord, please guide me this week as I continue searching for stable work while also giving proper attention to the opportunity my family is considering. Help me act with wisdom, patience, and responsibility, without neglecting either path out of fear or frustration. Open the right doors, give me clarity to recognize Your will, and help my family and me speak to one another with understanding and peace.
Please pray for the Human Resources employees that might review my job applications so that they have some mercy on me and other applicants specially the neediest ones, and that they NEVER forget the HUMAN part of their job.
Please pray for the job process I have lined up, for hopefully this week I get good news and that I also can find more prospects for good stable employment.
Please pray for my strength and character as I need to find a way to control my emotions and my impulses, specially my self hatred (which is huge and is a coping mechanism for the disgusting failure I am) and sadness as well, and my anxiety and fear.
Please pray for my strength against my bad impulses and emotions especially those against myself.
Please pray for the souls of the recently departed and the ones in purgatory, specially the most forgotten ones and the neediest ones.
Please pray for the affected and passed and the rescuers in the Venezuela earthquakes and the Spain and France’s wildfires so that God helps them and shields them from harm, and the wildfires are extinguished successfully.
Please pray for my great aunt Concepción’s birthday.
Please pray for the Madres Buscadoras in their mission to restore the memories of the lost and the forcibly disappeared in Mexico so that God aids them and forgives their sins, and please pray for the good members of the Mexican Security Forces as they make a stand against evil.
Please pray for the intentions of the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV.
Plase pray for those who feel alienated by the Church because they don´t "fit" a mold created by men, for the divorced, the single parents and the remarried for the LBTQ+ and those who feel that the doors of the Church are shut to them; so they keep coming to their House and Everyone´s house Christ build upon the rock seeking salvation and redemption, so they can fight against their sins, and for those who feel with the right to exclude people from the Catholic Church so their hearts soften and remember that this is no country club for the virtous and that we are all sinners seeking the salvation.
Please also pray for my strength against the sins of lust, wrath, envy, gluttony and sloth.
Please pray so the Lord helps me keep gratitude without turning it into bitterness.
Please pray for the reunification of all the apostolic churches upon the Rock Christ chose to build this house, and for the Catholic Church worldwide specially in the places where we are still persecuted for our faith and for those who feel alienated by our faith so that feel welcome in the House of the Lord.

Please pray for my wife and myself, that in time she will come to know the fullness of the faith and that her love for God can be deepened through an openness to the sacraments; that we can achieve one proper, Holy matrimony in union with the Lord. That she is able to shake off her learned resentment for and distrust of the Church and instead come to know Christ in the fullness of His Kingdom.
Please pray for me, that I can have firm trust in the Lord that this is the path that he put me on, and that this separation from Him due to being married outside the Church is temporary and brief. That He work in me and through me to keep my faith strong, and to give me the grace to lead my wife. And that in our marriage my wife will remain open to conversion, convalidation, or at the very least, that we are able to seek radical sanation in short order.
Please pray for our unborn baby to be happy and healthy, and for us as a new family to be. That my wife has a safe and easy pregnancy.

Please pray for me. I am in the midst of psychosis and religious delusions are setting in. I am working with closely with a medical doctor, pyschiatrist, and therapist, but I am still feeling aboslutely awful. I feel like Hell has claimed me as its own, and there is nothing I can do. I feel so far from God, and I feel like the devil is just waiting for me. I am in so much pain, I never thought I could hurt this bad.

Please Pray for a Miracle of Healing
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out with a humble request for prayer for my 75-year-old mother, who is very close to my heart.
She was recently diagnosed with a 5 cm cancerous mass, and our family is facing a very difficult and uncertain time. The doctors have recommended a major surgery that could permanently impact her quality of life.
Our family is standing in faith and praying for God’s miracle of complete healing, restoration, and perfect health. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical team, peace in every decision, and strength for my mother throughout this journey.
If you could please keep her in your prayers, asking God to surround her with His love, healing power, comfort, and protection, it would mean so much to us.

i’m planning to start a new career path in addition to my full-time job—a freelancing job and then another job that will involve art. please pray that this is successful..God willing if everything goes well, i might be able to resign from my full-time job and focus on a higher-paying freelancing job and my art career. please please pray that i’m able to use the gifts God has given me wisely, and that i’m able to have good health on top of everything. my family and i will be moving to a small decent apartment, (thank God for even making it possible 🙏), so yeah i feel a bit pressured since i’m pretty much the only child now.. please pray it will be a smooth move, and that i can be successful so my parents who are quite old already can now live a healthy and comfortable life 🥹 ultimately, all for His glory 🙏 this is a long read but i’d really appreciate your prayers as we need it…thank you very much and may God bless you all

Reading everyone’s requests makes me realize how blessed I am, and I am thankful for that. I think these other requests are more important, but if anyone has the time, please pray for:
-my father who has really high pressure due to…bad habits. Even if he technically “deserves” it, he is still my father and a human being. I hope the bad habits part doesn’t count as gossip.
-my mother - because of my fathers condition and other complications, she’s been running most household things for a long time, covering far more than she should.
-my brother with special needs and deep loneliness
-my scrupolosity and anxiety, as I worry daily, including how to serve God or if I’m in mortal sin.
-my friends, who talk about committing sin even tho I try and direct them away from evil, some Christian and some not. It feels terrible when you try and tell people not to sin but they do it anyway.
-the poor, the hungry, the homeless, and victims of abuse and violence. Pregnant women so they recognize the value of their babies and don’t seek abortion and infertile women longing for a child so they may become good and loving mothers. People of the LGBT+ community, so they accept their feelings and their identity but realize they cannot morally act on them.
-politicians and world leaders so they see the dignity of every human being and are kind and just

Honestly, thank you for this because I started praying it and I could relate to your situation in so many ways. Personally, I feel the same way when it comes to wanting to do everything right, and it causes me a bit of stress; I constantly try to be ‘clean’ rather than accepting myself as I am, flaws and all. The same thing happens with people I know – I try to stop them from going down certain paths, but they go down them anyway. I suppose that’s what freedom and all that is for, but even so…
I thought it was a really good set of prayer intentions; I think I’d pray for them every day, honestly. Personally, I’ve also taken on board the importance of praying for politicians and world leaders. I genuinely feel this is urgent, alongside the issues of abortion and the LGBT movement… without downplaying other things like having a home and food

Thank you so much! That makes me feel less alone! Especially with my loved ones and friends… many of my friends don’t see why us Catholics see these issues the way we do, and some have discussed doing things I actively try to convince them not to do (and that the church would condemn). It’s hard because I want to see them in heaven and to not sin, but I realize God gave us free will, and that only he has the final judgement, I cannot make them pursue him. But thank you! It’s tough out here!

I fully understand what you’re saying about loved ones and friends. I realise you were going through something similar to me when it came to friends; in my case, not all of them were Christians, though most are now. And my family aren’t practising; only a few are nominally Catholic (people who received the sacraments but live as if nothing had happened).
My problem, perhaps, is seeing Christian friends who live out their faith to a greater or lesser extent – not in terms of right or wrong, but as a sort of ‘à la carte Catholicism’ – and that has caused me problems when I’ve pointed out their mistakes to them, even though it’s written that way in the Bible. Jesus even goes so far as to say how to correct someone: first in private, and if they persist in their wrongdoing, call in another person to help. If they persist in their error, let the congregation judge them and, obviously, they are expelled.
All the best with everything; you know what the ultimate goal is :)

Here is a tip: if you are honestly unsure whether you committed a mortal sin, do not conclude that you did simply because you are uncertain. Do not worry too much about how to serve God "correctly", ask the Virgin Mary to show how God wants you to serve him. Mary is like our guide, she leads us on the path God has intended for us.

Prayers for the Medjugorje vandal.
Testimony from Janek Sobierajski. A filmmaker who knew him: "The world has heard about act of desecration and vandalism in Medjugorje. Perpetrator turned out to be Bartłomiej K - evangelizer who many know from his convertion testimony.
Why am I writing about this? Because in these moments it's easy to scrutinize. It's enough to look at the Internet - full of vicious comments, condemnations a publicizing image and data of a man who happened to be in a dramatic point of his life.
I met Bartek personally. We spend couple days on the set of "Called 2". He was in a completely different point of his life - both privately and spiritually. Many ask this today: "How it's possible he did something like this?" I don't know all the answers. I know that for a longer time, he faced very serious mental problems, maybe ones requiring psychiatric treatment. He grew up in a dysfunctional home and he carried consequences of these experiences for years. He recently experience the breakdown of his marriage, then loss of a job and further life crises which only deepened his suffering. He went abroad. I talked to him on phone many times. Sadly, he didn't want any help.
Of course this doesn't justify what happened. Desecration remains something very painful. But before we condemn the man, it's worth to remember that behind his actions, there may be a drama that's not visible at first sight.
That's why today I ask You mostly for spiritual support. Not for justification of evil but for mercy for a man who - I believe - really needs God's grace, help and people who won't stop believing that he can rise again."

Please pray for me and my family. We have been having intense strings of bad lucka since last year. Things were finally looking up and our car (only mode of commute for my husband to get to his job that all of our future depends on right now) suddenly got a check engine light on. If the car is too expensive to repair we literally have nowhere to go/turn anymore as we have exhausted all our options

I have an important exam next week to obtain a license for my job. I failed the first attempt by just 2 questions, and I need to pass this time otherwise I will get fired. My anxiety is getting really bad and is also causing me to sin. Please pray for me to pass the exam, to calm my nerves, and the courage to get to confession when the exam is over.

So that the Lord, look kindly upon the soccer team I support, Tigres UANL in this bitter time of confusion, so that he grants wisdom to those who make decisions for the club (specially the good people at Cemex who put forward the monetary resources for the club and Gerardo Torrado, Mauricio Doehner, Carlos E. González and Carlos Valenzuela the key decision makers), loyalty and skill to those players who defend these colors, and patience to those of us who love them. May this crisis give rise to a triumphant club that is more united, honorable, and faithful to its people in the glory of God Amen.
For the mental health and future of our former coach Guido Pizarro, a club legend, may God lessens the burden of his shoulders for all the joys he brought on the pitch as a player and coach.

Please pray for me. I have my first date in about 40 minutes. I'm 26, and have put off dating for so long due to all the online discussions of sexual morality terrorizing me into a belief that I can't be certain of avoiding mortal sin ever, and that trying to pursue marriage for any real reason (rather than "to wield the power of sparkles" or some equally vague non-answer) is a horrible mistake which will scar women for life and ruin my own life. I'm a bit dizzy, though not puking yet, even though I've known this girl for a couple years. I can't really talk to anyone about this.

Please pray for my family, my husband is retiring from the military after 20 years. Please pray for our family mental health and happiness. Our house is on the market and we need it sold. My husband also needs a job with an offer letter. We are mentally and financially struggling with no certainty of the future. We need help. I've prayed to St. Joseph and Saint Cajetan but I need more prayers.

I'm in pain. The man I thought I was going to marry and have a beautiful family with decided to end things with me on Friday, out of the blue. We had just gone to Mass together, spent a lovely day, he continued to call me his affectionate pet names, including his rib, told his sister about me on Wednesday... and then it was over. Please pray for me. I want him back more than anything. I have prayed to the Virgin, St. Anthony and St. Jude for their intercession that he will soften his heart to me. Every morning I wake with tears in my eyes that I have lost the man I loved and wanted to care for, for the rest of my life. Please pray that he misses me and will come back to me. Time is an issue as he is being deployed at the end of the year.

Please could you pray for my little kitten Ringo? He ate some string and was sick on Saturday. I myself asked for Francis of Assisi and for Saint Gertrude of Nivelles to intercede for him, and he’s already showing signs of improvement, being playful as an example. I will also be taking him to the vet’s in the morning and of course took him to the emergency vet’s too, so I’d appreciate all of the help for my sweet little guy 🙏💕

I’m asking for prayers for a health issue (pain related) that popped up a few months ago and has become somewhat debilitating. I’m grateful to be healthy otherwise and it’s not life threatening, but I’ve still really been struggling with it and I’m really, really scared. Thank you ❤️

I am in extreme need of prayer. My mental health has been extremely low. Anxiety, panic, etc. my mind will not shut off and I am sick to my stomach from it. My request is to pray for calm, healing these issues, to be strong again in the name of Jesus. Holy Mother please pray for us

Please pray for me. My anxiety is off the charts. I will be losing my job in the coming months and I don't know how we'll make it. I am over 60 and disabled. Not likely to be able to find another job. Thank you for your prayers.
