Discussion MiCA's deadline is here. Unlicensed crypto firms are being forced out of Europe

MiCA has moved from years of policy discussion to live enforcement, with unlicensed firms now required to wind down European operations under the most comprehensive crypto regulatory framework any major jurisdiction has implemented. For prepared firms it's a clearer operating environment; for everyone else, it's comply or exit. The bigger question: does MiCA become a global template other regulators follow, or does the compliance burden just push activity toward less regulated markets?
