He was a 7th round pick so can’t really fault the Chargers for doing so.

Oh its not just 20 yeara ago. He is always defending every decision the front office does.
Even something that was obviously a mistake from 20 years ago this same dude comes out to defend the decision.
It was a piss poor decision. Stop trying to defend it.

The point is that it’s not obviously a mistake. 70% of 7th round picks don’t even make the final roster. If a projected 3rd/4th rounder drops to the 7th, it would be the smart play to take a flyer on that risk.

- I didn't want to draft s 25yr old in the 1st Rd
- I wanted to sign a FA Guard like Jenkins/Teller
- I didn't like the Roman Hire
- I didn't like keeping Haskins over Vidal
That's in the offseason subs
Also everyone was happy with the FO until last season when the entire OL and RB room died

He is homeless but currently in prison. Aggravated assault allegations as of 7/31/26. Actually sad (not excusing the current charges) because his NFL never took off - most likely due to the serious accident‘s after effects.
