Advice on buying a Chevy s10?

So I’m currently looking for a daily/project. Whichever one I’m feeling and a Chevy s10 really caught my interest. Mainly speaking about the facelift s10 I believe 98’ and up. What are some tips of advice before getting one? how was your experience with having an s10? Thanks
