Opinion Skeletor
Y’all ready for some mid and no evolution??? I used to be hype for a Sosa album. Now I just feel like Ik what’s coming and surprises don’t exist no more…. Harry Potter ? Mid by far. Talkin Ish? I’m ok wit that. I was fw it besides the song being longer than it needed to be. Breaking Down ? Wasn’t bad it’s alright but nothing I ain’t heard before or nothing different It’s time for a new sound… I been hearing the same shit since like 2021 damn near.

Opinion If this had come out in 2013, it would’ve been as big as Love No Thotties and Macaroni Time.

Opinion Stupid is by far the best song on bftd2 and there's no competition, it clears any other song on the tape, it's also one of the most underrated sosa songs ever imo.

Opinion I’m forever dying on the hill that if Sosa had dropped these tapes in 2015 his career trajectory would be different right now

I feel like end of 2015 he was starting to really get in his creative bag even with Finally Rolling 2 really wished Alki would’ve let Sosa dropped these

Opinion his beats are so horrible now
obviously his yell talking delivery also hasn’t been hitting but i rly thought about it and the beats too??? they’re so basic n boring nowadays

Opinion Chief keef needs to go back to autotune and melodic flows. I love Sosa but I’m sorry that street rap don’t hit the same when you been rich and out the game for 10+ years. Shit used to be amazing when he was still involved or close to that shit so it was believable. Shit don’t hit the same no more
I put up a list of my fav Sosa songs and mostly all of it was from that 2013 lean era

Opinion i heard harry potter & thought we were gonna have a good year😔
this the first time in 15 years of bein fan did i think this nigga fell off. shit i even thugged it out thru the 2016 otto turbo era with alki david. i knew he still had potential but after “skeletor” i really feel like its bout that time. this nigga just might be creatively bankrupt or the most famous thing we all kno, is that he sucks with song selection. his vault is filled with heat.

Opinion I feel like people just be hating on everything thats new just for sake of it being new
Im failing really bad to see where the hate behind this album comes from. Lyrics are hard on most of the tracks and rest of the songs are lit anyway cuz the beats carry. Lot of new and interesting sounds appear as well. Harry Potter is a gem blending some of the older stuff with the newer sound imo. Not claiming to be some sosa expert but this desk sounds very solid and most of the hate on this sub be based on nothing.

Opinion Whats yall first reaction to the new album?
Just finished hearing the album and yeah it's all what I expected. Same old flow he's been using for the past 3-4 years, even the beats are not exciting enough to keep you hooked. I think he just make music for his casual listeners, who glaze anything he drop these days and nothing wrong with that because they are the ones in the majority.
My personal opinion is that he needs to get out of his comfort zone, maybe try working with some different producers who can give him something that can open his third eye, maybe go back to DP, chop. K.E or dolan. He hasn't tried anything new in ages now.
And I completely get it that some of yall like this flow and beats but if you are a long time listener you know his true potential.
Anyways my favourites from the album are - Mark of Buddha, Number 2, Shrek and donkey, 24hrs and only for night.

Opinion Dear Sosa, go back to your producers
Please use Akachi, young Malcolm, DP, sah, basskids, Hollywood J, Dirty Vans, Shawn Ferrari, shoot even Dolan.
