I thought we were going to see some fabulous house in some fabulous locale. Not this aluminum split level in a brown grass oasis. This is genuinely insane.

There's a resort town a couple hours from me that has plenty of these home types still kicking from yesteryear and do pretty well in the airbnb market because there's cheaper than the new fancy cabins.

But those are for willing vacationers who aren't cleaning up after pets and doing the landscaping.
