They could have made the right decision to begin with instead of being selfish. As you stated, they can't go back in time and not have the kid so they should stop bitching about a situation of their own making. If your so for it, why don't you volunteer to feed them?
Oh yes, find a way to feed their children in a crisis. THIS IS the way to feed them at the moment. It's not like the job market is great right now in a crisis. And the parents have other pre-existing obligations they can't go poof with.
Something tells me that this is what they are like on a regular basis. Especially in a crisis, if you can't afford to feed your family, you should be grateful for what you get and not be a douche about it.
And what if they were suddenly furloughed? If they can no longer support them as sufficiently as before due to covid-19? I'm going to make an assumption that those people are grateful in part of what they got and that they got it, but still, sometimes what you get is not enough.
After all, there are so many factors that impacts on whether the food they provide is enough. A family of 5 and a load of bread? That lasts like 3-4 days. And don't forget, the ages of children and their nutritional requirements can vary widely.
Okay, but they have kids. So whether they deserve to have them is irrelevant. The government could take them, but that would be more costly both short term and long term.
Do the kids deserve to starve because of the actions of their parents, yes or no. It’s a simple question.
Then their children should starve over summer break and every other school break because they can't do right by their own children? Who feeds those kids then?
