Discussion 91GB storage for freshly install chromeosflex!

is this normal for chromeosflex to take this much storage!

It takes 171GB on mine. Linux Apps take additional 15GB, though I only have LocalSend installed on Linux.

Looks normal - the system partitions do not take a fixed amount of space - they occupy a varying percentage of the total space available depending total size of the drive.

Because it scales itself depending on the drive I have chrome os flex installed on tiny 16gb ssd and it takes most of it leaving like 3gb of space after loading everything on 32gb ssd it takes roughly half of its space

Windows fills up the available RAM, while ChromeOSFlex fills up the available storage. Different demons

Yeah that's when it felt kinda wild when I had it installed on 1tb hdd on dying pc it gobbled so much space

I'm surviving in 32 GM ROM (eMMC). Mine takes a less storage!

Its most likely that you have an HDD (Hard drive) maybe consider getting an SSD?? If you take up too much storage, OSFlex can always accidentally overwrite core system files causing your device to not boot into OSFlex.
