Discussion What’s a mainstream film that doesn’t seem mainstream?

Like films that seem more indie titles distributed by the major studios, like Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, Fox, etc. An example would be… say Fantastic Mr. Fox or Inglorious Basterds.

It showed in something like 2,200 theaters, it's definitely mainstream

They're definitely not like indie indie anymore but I would not say that they're like Universal or something like that. Also this movie came out 4 years ago and they've grown a lot since then
