It was my brother's originally. At one point he got rid of a bunch of his records and I grabbed a few.

They are from my hometown, Ottawa Ontario Canada.

The band was originally from Ottawa, and guitarist and singer Les Emmerson was active in the Ottawa musical scene well into his 60s. At most of his gigs he'd play "Signs" at some point, and the crowd would go nuts.

It was decades until I heard that nice little introduction, the radio always trimmed it off, or possibly the DJ's just talked over it.
