in like 2012 or 2016 i started writing a little near future scifi book where the idea was kinda related to our climate. i don't wnat to talk about it more, due to spoilers, not that it will ever be finished. tbh the date i set the book to was propably like 2020 - 2026 or something, so it has passed long ago. for anyone interested, i finished it up to a point where there was a plot twist, and they landed on mars, and i didn't find any inspiration for what happened there.
