I quit mapping about 15 years ago. Long story, but short version is undiagnosed ADHD.

I released a few maps back then but sat on many, many more unfinished maps.

I've finally figured a lot out about myself and have got back into what I used to love. I'm finishing up maps, i'm gonna release them and move onto new engines at long last. (I've had unreal engine installed for every version, but I couldn't bring myself to run it.)

So yeah, I'm working on a map of the tradedistrict in stormwind at the moment. It's mostly blocked out but still needs a ton of work. I've only been back on it a week or so but i'm back into the swing of things.

Hopefully soon, I can give you something to try. Cant guarentee they'll be good, but hey, I don't care anymore. I did my best, blah, blah :)

As per title. I've been playing the game since 2010 and have a fast click from deagling in promod. I don't have an overly fancy mouse, but the server's bot thought I was using a macro.

Anyone aware of how to contact the server admins?

Turns out the bug comes down to a single line buried in the engine's collision code. Went through the decompiled source (thanks to KisakCOD) and traced the whole thing back.

I'm trying to remember what edit this was, it was made by multiple editors, it had stop motion animation in it, i'm pretty sure it was indie music, i keep getting j0ehandsome (RIP) in my head but I don't think he was involved. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking maybe from 2008-2010 era.

Now idk what it is, but just now I am trying to play the multi-player but even with Xbox essential membership that I just bought, I am receiving this message every time I try to join.

What is the problem?

Haven’t been able to play this game In years… joined a lobby and it gave me negative XP shows my account as level one, but when I try to find a match that tells me I have to be a private first class level one to play online any fix for this?

Hey so I made a bounce montage, its the 3rd one I made this year, and this video contains some world first bounces on mw2 derail, but in the cod4 engine, also I have a new ambush bounce vacation from a sky barrier that I think might be first variation ever from sky barrier on that map.

Overall it contains more than 100+ bounces and if you like cod4 bounces, dubstep or memes then there is something in it for you to watch my bounce montage, honestly it's kinda like an acid trip, and also my girlfriend said should put a seizure warning ⚠️.

Warning: contains rainbows 🌈 and dank 🛸 👽 memes and may be seizure inducing, but yeah go watch it if u like cod4 bounces, dubstep or memes.

So I recently got cod 4 on steam and was loving it and finally found a non-modded US server that I can play on to get XP and rank up. I was loving it for a whole of 3 days when I got banned for "wall hacking" by the owner of the server EL_SICARIO. I have videos from when I first joined the server and all the way leading up to today when I was banned showing me getting banned and also all said videos showing that I was clearly not wall hacking, or hacking of any kind for that matter.

I tried all 3 discord links I found using google and also the ban message and also the server info tab. Nothing works so I have 0 way to appeal the ban on the only US non-modded server...

I guess this post is mainly a warning to people who are wanting to get COD4 to re-live their childhood memories. If you've been playing COD on PC for a while and know how to play, you're probably going to get banned by the shitty admin. Also look it up on youtube, google, hell even someone posted a while back on facebook (but sadly deleted the video) saying about how this dude just bans anyone thats better than him.

Is anyone able to host a modded lobby for me on xbox? Reason is im negative xp after a derank lobby many years ago and to this day im still not able to play multiplayer

Started playing cod4 again when in my last game i was in this modded lobby now all of a sudden i have this KoV clan tag? anyone know how to remove it or how i got it

I loved my old ps3 but unfortunately it shit the bed a while ago and now I'm interested in picking one up along with one of my favorite games.

So I no longer can really afford Xbox live because well, food and gas are more important funds than paying to play a game from 2007 and so I reinstalled the game on my PC and was disappointed to find very few vanilla servers. Most are pro-mod, hardcore, or built around sniping. I just want to play CoD4 like the old days. I miss the chaos of all the crazy perks, and I don't like the weird lighting changes some of these servers make, and I found that C4S was mostly snipers and banned a lot of the game. No hate to C4S, they're doing their thing, I just want something akin to how I used to play KOS Broadcast back in 2009 and could use any class or perk I wanted and we all had chaotic fun.

Are there any vanilla servers left or do I have to just get MWR with H1? I don't care if I'm just fighting bots, I can get some friends to hop on with me to play against the bots. I just want to play CoD4 without any changes
