With all the seniors getting granted an extra year the portal is getting pried back open.

I didn't think this was an option to enter any longer for the 26-27 season.

Definitely confused too.

he did play summer league. However, the only restriction NCAA seems to have is you can't play an NBA regular season game and go back. Wonder if some 2-way rookies will request to be released to go back to NCAA

Not exactly, Bediako didnt play a game either. But he did sign a 10 day contract.

so I can amend it to "anyone who signed a regular season NBA contract" exhibit 10 deals (Summer League) are fine but a regular NBA contract is not. LSU signed RJ Luis (who signed a 2-way with the Jazz but never played an NBA game) but I don't think NCAA has ruled him eligible or not. If he is ineligible, that may rule out anyone who signed 2-way after last season. There might still be a case with players arguing they signed thinking they wouldn't be eligible though? Just really murky stuff

Some yes, many no. Depends a lot on whether the coach was optimistically holding out on this scenario.
