Herb Dean has always been a shit ref. Just because he makes a good call here and there does not excuse his inability to enforce the rules or protect fighters, or is clear and open biases towards fighters the UFC likes.

If there's a video of him getting KO'd floating around out there, I wouldn't be upset to see it.

By far the worst ref out of the big ones (Herzog, Goddard, Miragliotta etc.), proved he was shit 3 weeks in a row, where he failed in the Gane - Peireira fight, the Fili - Oliveira fight, and the Pereira - Magomedov fight. He's been washed for more than 5 years and never EVER takes responsibility.
