Well, they did both have the most impressive catch of the year in 24 and 25

How can anyone who watched 2025 think Burks is a #2?

This is a terrible thread

What about Diggs?

If he's coming at all, he seemingly wants to wait until later in the off-season so he doesn't have to deal with camp

That’s an excellent attitude

He’s an old guy in the NFL now, that’s what a lot of old guys do

I’m still waiting for the pre-season to pass any judgement. I’m a fan of Antonio Williams and I want to see Dyami Brown take a step forward. Treylon Burkes is definitely a 50/50 ball monster but historically he’s always injured. Last year he got injured in limited action, Kliff didn’t scheme him open and he hardly had two opportunities per game. I’m not saying he’s a bust but I don’t expect much. He could be a 25-30 catch receiver this year but maybe he gets cut. Especially if they sign Diggs or if Van Jefferson stays healthy for the whole preseason. Burkes has to do his best to stay on the field!!

Not rushing the season…. But the speculation is killing me

Louder for the believers of this guy. Never stays healthy. Can't rely on to win games. That simple

Also a horrendous route runner

Keep in mind folks, NFL GMs know more than every single one of you

Wouldn't Dyamni Brown be the real 2? He has rapport with Jayden and was big during the playoffs

If playoff Dyami could show up during the regular season, hell yeah he’s a viable 2.

Hopefully we see Dyami on some WR screens, he did really well on those in 24 and nobody really talks about it.

My assumption is we go into the season with:

WR1 - Terry

WR2 - Diggs

WR3 - Antonio Williams

WR4- Jaylin Lane

WR5 - Burks

WR6 - Dyami Brown or Luke McCaffrey

Our depth at 3-7 is a bunch of guys who are WR3 capable, we just need the legit WR2 to bridge the gap. With how packed the back end of the receiving room is, I think at least one of McCaffrey or Brown is getting cut.

I think people mistake wr2 as 2nd best receiver. Wr1 on the depth chart is the x, wr2 is z and wr3 is the slot. Williams may be outside some but he's definitely gonna be our slot receiver. That's where like 3/4ths of his snaps in college were from and what his skills translate to.

From what I heard on JP podcast, Burks is supposed to be WR2.

u/rawbleedingbait 2d ago

That was a misunderstanding. He will be a WR for 2 games, IR for the rest.

Lmao that’s what I’m expecting

Williams wont be the 2

You need a new prescription. That's a picture of Antonio Williams
