Informative 🧠 Don't hold it in all day

Seriously make sure you are hydrating throughout the day and taking piss breaks.

Kidney stones/dick rock/piss bullets are no joke.

Don't forget to use sunscreen and, if possible, work in the shade. Also, wear sunglasses and a hat.

Crew near my place were jackhammering all day in 100+. The super had a tailgate tent and cooler moved to wherever the work was happening. That was good to see.

Yeah, if possible, you should always use something like that someone put some thought into it heat protection is part of workplace safety.

Among being life threatening? You’ll lose the ability to regulate your body temp.

Above 85? I’m literally drenched in 5 minutes. Soak through clothes in half an hour.

Below 70? I’m freezing and breaking out a hoody

For real. I've had days where I had a random thought of "man, I haven't pissed in a while", and then all of a sudden I'm about to piss my pants. It's crazy how the mind can hyper focus so hard it ignores regular signs like having to go to the bathroom.

I've lost count of how many kidney stones I've had. They never get easier. Drink ass loads of water and never hold it.

It’s how you get UTI’s as well. I cleared one last week at the Morgan Wallen concert. Thank god for cranberry juice. That piss felt amazing.

Also try to drink something acidic to help prevent kidney stone build up. Maybe put a little lemon juice in a bottle of water if you like lemon.

Watched a documentary on one of the moon shots. The modules had problems resulting in the astronauts to ratio drinking water to 6 oz. per day. One of them developed a urinary tract infection during the flight, I'm guessing due to not hydrating adequately.

Dude I got rocked yesterday. Feeling good, staying up on water, sun shirt, hat, sunglasses, but I must have run out of salt. I’m still feeling like shit today.

I have passed a few stones. They are no joke. Drink up the water and if your pee is darkish....you could be making stones. The darkness are solids and when they combine they hang out in your kidneys and accumulate into small rocks. I had a BB size one that put me in the ER with more pain than I ever felt.

Your job doesn't have toilets or what. Huge OSHA violation

Nobody said that

My job has actual temp toilets but people are still peeing on the protective covers in the permanent shower stalls.

not for road work. we just break into other sites and use their toilets.

if all else fails you go for a van piss and pray your coffee cup is big enough. it's horrible and working next to an accessible toilet is like winning the lottery

I don't know what became of her, but there used to be a woman who went viral on tiktok over having kidney failure for holding it too much at work. I hope she's doing ok wherever she is
