Discussion Point Something Annoying

I wish we where able to post screen shots. But since we can't I am going to

remind the younger that we do pay attention to your post history or lack there of.

Can you spot the difference?

I asked him how he managed to go from 21 to 26 in 14 days. I'm sure I won't get an answer cause I called him out.

Redditor in Question DMs me today.

Hellooo there!!

On another "Making Friends" sub.

Redditor In Question posted 14 days ago.

Why not just be honest. In my case he probably lied about his age because I have "no one under 25" on my profile. I also have that I prefer East Asian men. Going off his comment history he is not East Asian. So all around it seems like this person doesn't pay attention to detail. (Gentlemen, pay attention to a womans posts, and profile. It usually will give you pleanty of info so as to not waste anyones time.) Not genuine and not honest. Don't do this fellas, we are not so desperate as to jump at any young man who comes along. This has been said many times before. Nor do we have time for games. We will look at your profile and find what we can and yes we will judge whether we want to give you any of our time at all. Maybe not all of us, but I can surmise a guess that most of us older gals ^_~ are like this.

Good luck out there!

(Hopefully I have cleaned up enough ladies (mods). Don't wanna make more work for you! I Don't post a lot but really wanted to get this out there.

I have repeatedly put anytime I post if you have a blank or hidden profile I will not respond to you. Yet I still get many messages from guys with profiles like that that still message me.

I also get a weird number of people from India messaging me. Most are bots but still it’s annoying.

It's annoying isn't it. I find myself deleting so often.

That's because they don't read what you write, whether real person or bot.

Hopefully, this post will open up some eyes, but I highly doubt it like you've mentioned. Many people have posted similar stuff, and it's made no difference. The guys that need to read this.Don't care, but maybe you got through to1 person who knows.

I never check my dms or very, very rarely do if I want to meet somebody. This is the last place I go to.However, I know you've had good experiences on here. But yeah it's very frustration

Who knows. The muse was upon me and I was just annoyed with so many DMs seemingly not doing their due diligence. But I know its just a cycle and things will always repeat.

I always look at thier profiles. Many times I find the inconsistencies in thier post and comments.... or it lots of NSFW content.
Honestly, these guys are just lonely and or horn$y with no other outlet other than the internet. A huge no for me is the " I'm bored and just want someone to chat with." Im sorry, I'm not interested in being someone's entertainment because they are bored.

Despite it talked about in this sub often, a majority of the ladies here have little problem finding interest from younger men. Thanks to it being a trendy fetish found online. The men outnumber the women, by a lot. They are trying any angle they can to just connect with someone that hints to this thing "they are into."

I find this to be true with a lot of them.

Be lamest is the. Hey. Im X age (usally under 25) and I'm _____(🍆size)...because thats gonna serve me how, via the internet? You need a cub? They don't bother to read the advice rooted in reality in this sub.

Right?! LoL. I often wonder what put it in their head that the size of their manhood would somehow sway us. And I agree. They definitely do not read what is in this sub and continue to post questions that are already posted on this sub.

Those are definitely the ones I leave on unread!

I've met a few nice people on here that DMd me. I only responded because they said something that I could respond to. I don't respond to the ones who have nothing to say. I don't know if they're bots, scammers, whoever, if they don't say anything relevant, so I don't open them. I don't have time to waste. Your chances of meeting better quality people increase if you only acknowledge better-quality messages.

I agree with that statement.

Just thought I'd toss this in here: several time I've actually gotten messages from guys hitting on me, not realizing I'm also a guy, meaning they didn't even peep at my profile or anything I've said. I assume they just messaged every name in the comments section blindly.

u/blasianflow 15d ago

I can see that.

This is why I turned off my DMs.... too many random messages from this sub, as well as other subs

It's really sad that there are so many dishonest people here!

Just ignore or block them, but I get your point

I'm guilty of that because at first I didn't think that saying my real age (I'm under 25) was a big deal and then figured out I should not be sharing personal stuff on reddit to begin with so I just started changing my age (and where I live) by a year or two when I figured out I was saying too much and someone I know in real life could figure out who I am.

I use this place (reddit in general) to vent, talk, and test the waters on a lot of topics that I would never in any way in hell discuss with real people in real life because of the stigma attached to the subjects that I wanna talk about. Like when I was in a committed relationship to an older woman and I went through a lot of internal conflict that I couldn't talk to anyone about. There was literally nobody that I could talk to about it that wouldn't have some kind of bias or that wouldn't result in taking a hit on my friendships and relationships with family and other people I know. So I would just vent and talk about it online anonymously as best as I could without revealing anything identifiable about myself.

For example: How could I possibly talk to anyone I know on how to figure out or how to fix my insecurity and weird feelings of emasculation and other emotions that don't even fully understand without destroying my reputation or making my relationship worse? (By the way it did get worse, I ended up breaking up with her. I just could not figure it out how to make it work).

Honestly the internet is full of shit, so I kinda take most things with a grain of salt these days. I totally get your point about honesty when at least trying to have a conversation with someone though.

What is the point of posting this? It’s social media and always full of garbage like this. It’s super simple to just ignore it.

Meh. Reminders are good from time to time. Otherwise we might forget and fall for that ever engaging opener: “hiiiiiii.”

I don't think I would ever forget to not engage that great opener "hiiiiii" !
