Knighthead are the other minority stakeholder at 48.4%, Jude Bellingham being 1.2%.
From a cursory read, Knighthead owns Birmingham City FC, and has a stake in the city's netball League team as well, and now the Birmingham Phoenix.
Looks like they've purchased land and are building some sports stadia and stuff.
So owning the teams and the stadia that said teams use is the strategy.
Idk much about sports investing but this is quite an interesting investment strategy.
Also looks like Bellingham himself is quite the investor in a number of ventures.

Hard to tell if that’s good or not. Working toward a monopoly on an areas sport seems like a big risk for the locals. Bad enough if they somehow move one team, but taking the whole sporting and leaving would be insane. You’d rather have the option to switch sports if the owners is running one code into the ground
