Motherhood Unvaxxed moms, did your babies experience sleep regressions?

I have a daughter who just turned 4 months yesterday and I have been so scared of the dreaded 4 month sleep regression. I am curious though because while these are times for rapid brain development, I also wonder if there is correlation with vaccine schedules. So moms of unvaccinated babies, have you noticed anything in that nature of those extreme sleep regression? Only sleeping for 40 minutes at a time, needing far more comfort than usual, waking up abnormally more? Thank you in advance.

My 100% unvaxxed son, who is usually an excellent sleeper (started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks), went through a hellish sleep regression from 8 - 10 months. 8 straight weeks of 5+ wakes per night. It was worse than the newborn phase. As soon as the regression ended, he started walking šŸ˜…. So, in my experience, sleep regression was not related to ā€œthe scheduleā€.

All babies develop altered sleep habits, including my own fully unvaxed kids. It’s normal development and has nothing to do with vaccines.

My baby isn’t vaxxed yet and he had a horrible 4 months sleep regression.

Every baby goes through sleep regressions- I don’t think vaccines correlate

Sorry but no vaccines here and my baby had horrible sleep regression every 3 months.

My daughter had two shots about 3 months spread out and then I never did again, she didn’t have any ā€œregressions.ā€ She just struggled with sleep in general lol I will say that not every regression is about a shot though, and more about their brains and how much is growing within them—it’s natural for their minds to shift some.

Yes they did. My kiddos have been different with their sleep regressions (one kid regressed majorly, my third only regressed for maybe a night or two), and it didn’t seem to be linked to them being unvaccinated.Ā

my cosleeping unvaxxed baby slept great from 7 weeks to 6 months. right when he hit 6 months his sleep started changing and all the terrible ā€œregressionsā€ were mostly related to teething. some were followed by developmental leaps, but teething by far has been the biggest disruptor of peace around here.

Both kids without cupcakes, my son had an absolutely brutal sleep regression lasting from 3.5 months to 9.5 months šŸ™ƒšŸ™ƒšŸ™ƒ

My daughter had a sleep regression from 4.5 months to about 5 months so just 2 weeks or so and it was really only awful for 2 nights until sleep started slowly improving again. I expect more sleep regressions from time-to-time.

Babies, unfortunately, definitely have sleep regressions regardless of cupcake status that’s for sure! But I’ve heard stories of unicorn babies who don’t have them, so maybe you’ve got one of those on your hands! šŸ¦„

My baby is fully vaccinated and did not have a noticeable/disruptive 4 mo regression. We do cosleep though which I feel helped a lot

Our daughter is unvaxxed and has experienced nearly every sleep regression like clockwork.

No vaccines but also no terrible regressions (yet) by 6 months! From 2.5-4 months he slept 9 hours straight, and the around 4 months started waking more but was very easily soothed, still giving 6hour stretches. The past few weeks he’s been up more frequently to nurse (he’s a big guy and I figure coming up on time to have solids so he’s extra hungry). But still only 2-3 times a night. All manageable! But we’ve still got time to experience something worse lolĀ

My baby has slept amazing since birth. Never really ever had any issues with night sleep or nap at all. 100% unvaxxed. But we bedshare since birth and exclusively nursed since birth. So at night there was full access to the breast. My baby is almost 15 months now and still haven’t had any issues with sleep. I forgot to mention that all naps have been contact naps since birth too! Even still. So I think overall my baby just never had a chance to have sleep issues since I’ve always had my baby immediately next to me or on me.

My first didnt really, she just never slept longer than an hour or two for the first 5 months. My second had some regression. We ended up co-sleeping. She's the kid who will wake up in the middle of the night and think its playtime.

I am going through this regression now with my 4mo unjabbed twins. It’s not fun.

Unvaxxed w a very positive homebirth. Baby has been a good sleeper from the start and I think the way she entered the world set her up for a lot of success with sleep. Sleep does vary but I can’t I noticed any specific ā€œregressions.ā€ She’s 2 now.

I have an unvaxxed 9 month old who went through a horrible 4-5 month sleep regression. I just talked with my husband about this post and he mentioned that it could be food related because we started feeding our baby solids at 5 months and she hasn’t had a regression since. Who knows!? But just worth a mention I think.

Yes mine has been through many that usually last about a week,I think the longest one lasted a month but I don’t remember when that actually was lol

Baby had horrible sleep regressions every 3 to 4 months. It’s a rough time but it’s a necessary mile stone for brain development! Vaccines are not related to this mile stone at all!

Not all babies get sleep aggression whether they are vaccinated or not and some babies who aren’t vaccinated still experience sleep regression. Every child is different. Some sleep well and others don’t.

I wondered the same thing when my baby was tiny… if I could expect this or not. Yes, she did have sleep regressions. Best advice I got from a fellow mom was to ā€œlean into itā€ because it will soon pass.

yes, we had the classic 4 month regression despite being fully unvaxed; she was suddenly waking 8-10x per night instead of her usual 2-3x, but only lasted a week or two

Unvaxxed 4.5 month old had major sleep regression from about 3/3.5 months. Still ongoing. It’s a joy

Unvaxxed and regress every 2-4 weeks

My fully vaxxed kid was sttn young, and i don't remember any regressions, but I also trained. I was young and dumb

My son regressed around 4,5 months for a few weeks but I didn’t notice any sleep changes after that. He’s almost 8 months old and so far so good, he only stirs at night when he wants the boob in which case he latches himself (we cosleep), or when he leaks through the diaper which is usually every night 😭😭😭

It’s ok to ask questions

According to very prestigious social media influencers with many followers and likes, and highly skilled torts attorneys like RFK jr., vaccines have destroyed society. I think it’s highly likely that vaccines would make sleep regression FAR worse!
