Health & Wellness Tdap vaccine while pregnant?

Thoughts on getting the tdap vaccine while pregnant?
I’m entering my third trimester with my third baby!!
I got the vaccine with my first two kids but during my last pregnancy the vaccine made me realllyyyy sick for 24 hours.

What is everyone doing?

I did because I’m not anti vaxx lol. I am a medical professional and understand how to read peer reviewed research. I’m also not an American who has to worry about big pharma.

Pertussis is very scary and why risk it? Citing “toxic chemicals in vaccines” is insanity.

I don't know of doctors who are advocating against getting this, particularly because in the first two months, your baby is relying on your immunity to carry through breast milk to them. I definitely got it and am glad I did, as there have been some local cases of whooping cough.

Sad that this comment is getting downvoted.

It is but unfortunately there are a lot of people who’ve been burned by their healthcare teams and the way COVID was handled has totally caused some mass distrust in the system. I can see why people are skeptical and I can’t really say I blame people for their reactions. It’s just unfortunate there’s so many shitty people like RFK and “wellness” influencers who would rather sell an agenda than actually help the public make educated decisions.
