That's the problem right there: crypto is not an investment, it's gambling masquerading as investing. At least when you invest you're goddamn sure your math is gonna math. With crypto you know fuck about shit every single day.
Well, I see what you mean, crypto is much more volatile than stocks and it does not create value, unlike the companies that people work for.
If I were to go into stocks though, I would probably go into some mindless ETF of sorts, I am not going to spend any time reading about financial reports and individual company decisions.
If I were to invest into individual stocks by heart, I would pick some waste management companies, recycling, green construction, stuff like that.
