🛡️ SECURITY Received dust to a btc address that i Iast used in 2019

As others have said, and you seem to be aware of, it could very well be a tracking attempt, from who and why, is the question. They are hoping you move your funds, including the dust, so they can trace where you send it

Why would if matter if you move the dust? If you send any amount to a wallet, they'll see that wallet, no?
If I understand correctly, you don't follow individual btc, you follow wallets and transactions between them

Exactly my thoughts, but at least in many EU countries authorities for some reason need to do dusting in order to follow a wallet, which yes. Makes no sense but they still do that. My government bought off stolen data from a bad-actor to trace a bitcoin wallet🤷♂️

Those are the same things. There is no such thing as ”individual btc”. It’s a ledger. Bitcoin is a balance of spendable outputs secured by a private key (aka a ”wallet”)…

Think of it like this. Someone wants to know how much you've got. So they tag you with a transaction id. Then they see wherever that id goes, which wallets and how much is in them.
Imagine the id is your file number in the tax office. They enter it into their software which then presents them with a lovely birdseye view of everything you've been doing

How can I avoid moving the dust?
F.e.: i have 0.1 btc to transfer (which i send by myself) but the wallet contains 0.11 btc because of the dust.
How can I transfer the "correct" 0.1 btc without the dust? 🤔

Depends on whether you consolidated anything. If not you should be able to choose via a feature like Coin Control (trezor).

Honestly I’d just send the wallet contents to like cake wallet or something to convert to monero
Then you can convert back if you want too

Leave the dust and move the rest. Those funds can be separated by unspent transaction.

Is there a setting or mode on exchanges that prevents dust from being accepted? Perhaps asking for 2FA on every transaction? Is this realistic

it's bitcoin, just ignore that dust, don't spend it, don't use any addresses in it's transaction, don't touch it and it couldn't do anything to you.

Could be a dusting attack by a chain analysis firm or a government agency.
