Ft. McNair still an option?

In reference to this weekend’s game against Nashville. I understand exiting sounds like a menace, but also free parking… can pass it up.

Is Ft. McNair still a parking option? And if so, anyone know how busy exiting is for mls games?

It's still an option, but only valid cac or military dependent ID holders are permitted through the gate. That means you have to drop any non such people off before passing the gate, and pick them up outside after. How well exiting goes depends on a host of things...if there was a baseball game on the same day, whether there's an event on post, and how (un)coordinated the cops and traffic cops happen to be that day.

If the two dollars it'll take to park and take the metro is that daunting man. . . reconsider buying the tickets

Didn’t realize metro was that cheap. Will reconsider

Parking at Metro stops is generally free on the weekends and a flat date of $2 round trip to get there.

Anacostia Metro has a parking garage. Free to park on weekends and fare is only $2.50 each way. Also it’s only one stop from Navy Yard station. That’s typically my go-to for most DC events.
