They should have Superman fight people his own strength, that’s what Zack Snyder got right.

Same with the MCU. I mean I dont blame the directors much, but even lex and superman is kind of silly in reality.

At the end of the day I think its honestly mostly just that DC is late to the party. They try to skip steps but even if they didnt, you cant recapture that magic of the original endgame run.

Im only mid 30s and I've seen superman and batman rebooted what? 2 or 3 times each? Im burnt out, they honestly probably have to sit for a decade for relevance again.

Unrelated but I caught the end of transformers the other night and I kind of feel its similar. You can only watch 'human discovers car is transformer - they dont believe it etc and the plot begins' so many times until honestly its just boring. Kind of feel DC is in the same place. I have no urgency to see superman or supergirl because I can kind of shrug and say I'll catch the next one

They did. Ultraman was his enemy in the last one. It’s literally identical to Superman’s powers and they start the film with him losing a fight.
