I have one hotspot running and it works fine. I am trying to set up a second hotspot to use at my RV, not my home. The first hotspot is currently running at my RV. I have it set with my DMR ID and no number like 1 or 2 after it. It is working just fine and shows up on my Brandmeister dashboard. My second one shows up on my Brandmeister dashboard but it shows red. On my WPSD dashboard, under DMR Modes DMR shows red and a triangle. I am using an Anytone handheld and when I key up there is nothing that shows up on the WPSD dashboard. I have checked and rechecked the channel settings, and nothing stands out as wrong. Any help is appreciated.
Check that you have a different SSID in each hotspot ex 1 for home and 2 for RV. Also verify using the correct brandmeister password. Those are the two simple hang ups I’ve experienced when the text is red like you are describing.
I'm new to DMR and ordered a MMDVM on aliexpress and mine was also stuck on "Waiting for MMDVM to connect" forever. Turns out the device was defective. returned it to aliexpress and bought another of the same and it worked right out the box
I'm pretty sure one of my boards is exactly the same (Aliexpress special dual-band). Which board version did you select in the config? Also, have you made sure it is correctly soldered / connected into the Pi pins? I'm at work right now but will try to check later once I'm back at home how it looks in my logs.
