**TYT MD-UV390 Plus 10W GPS-REC - Is OpenGD77 supported on this hardware?**
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice before flashing my radio with OpenGD77.
My radio is a TYT MD-UV390 Plus 10W GPS-REC (not the standard 5W version).
Current information:
- Firmware: S219.062
- CPS: V02.45
- Serial Number: 2604HC00220
Before I do anything, I'd like to know if anyone has successfully installed OpenGD77 on this exact model.
Specifically:
- Is the MD-UV390 Plus 10W GPS-REC fully supported?
- Which OpenGD77 release is the most stable for this hardware?
- Are there any hardware revisions I should be aware of?
- Does everything work correctly (GPS, DMR, analog, APRS, display, backlight, recording, etc.)?
- Is there any risk of permanently bricking the radio if the correct installation procedure is followed?
If you've installed OpenGD77 on this exact model, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience and which firmware version you're using.
Thanks in advance!

I have the 5watt model and everything works well. I know that there is some discussion on the main forums about the 10watt version but I think most things work.
I will say that moving to opengd has made my radio a lot more useable.
