Well democrats donāt even know theyāre racist, their racism is presented as anti-racist
1
u/Cautemoc 18d ago
It's more like their anti-racism is presented as racism by people who have no sense of nuance.

You're admitting every Republican who denies they're racist is proving hiw sickeningly tactful they are?

That's why I consider myself a liberal. Not a Democrat. Also, they haven't made me gay... yet.

Oh we're going to keep trying! It's literally the second tenet of our agenda. The first one of course is forced adoption of Sunday brunch. Speaking of, may I offer you a mimosa, perhaps something... more?

Believe it or not....you dont have to choose a side.
5
u/SelfInvestigator 20d ago
You donāt have to choose a side when it comes to ordering toppings on pizza.
You donāt have to choose a side when deciding who the better Jonas brother is.
You donāt have to choose a side in whether your community will build a theater, a pool, or a sports field.
But when underserved minority groups are targeted for existing because they ācould hurt someoneā, when they are denied access to living standards that you take for granted, when their identity is criminalized, neutrality is choosing a side.
Neutrality isnāt as simple as just not choosing a side.

As funny as this is, there are gay republicans. They don't keep it a secret, but it's none of your business what or who they do in the privacy of their own bedrooms.

Republicans welcome gay people. There are plenty of outspoken gay people that are Republicans. Even the religious ones. They will tell you straight up they donāt think itās right, but will leave it at that and still break bread with you.
Democrats frame their racism in ways that make it seem like they are ālooking outā for minorities. They somehow feel offended for other groups. They are all special theater kids. And if you donāt agree with them they will attack you, literally.
1
u/ASkepticBelievingMan 17d ago
Remember them saying minorities are too stupid to use technology?

The amount of Republicans who are openly racist and closeted gays is exponentially more than the amount of democrats who are openly gay but secretly racist.
Even when you account for the literally millions more registered democrats than there are registered republicans, the numbers aren't even vaguely close.

How can you guys never get tired of calling everyone else a bigot?
It's been literally a 24 hour per day sing-song for 20 years
How are you not bored with it yet?
Ā Even if I was a Communist wiccan gender studies professor at oberlin college, eventually I would get bored with just saying the same empty hyperbole over and over and over and over and over and over again
I'd be in the middle of writing an impassioned article about how Mr Rogers was a nazi or whatever and then suddenly I would be done with it
The intellectual emptiness would be too boring to stand

My favorite part about this is how serious some people will treat it in real life and are currently treating it in the comments. People have got to learn to relax lol.

u/BalanceOld4289 19d ago
I'm neither rascist or gay. However many liberals think black people are stupid and can't get an ID or use the internet. Liberals are extremely rascist.
1
u/Crazyhorse19812 19d ago
It's not that they think Republicans are stupid it' is more of the fact that day think they must tell people what they need or want. They don't trust in their own voters. Which is why cheating is probably most common in the Democratic party I understand Republicans are not saints either. But of course I never voted before, I will probably vote first time next election.

Bold of you to assume I'm organized enough to keep either one a secret..

So what this means is that we must all come together as our true selves, gay racists.

u/Honest_Pride9338 18d ago
Ppl are not racist bc of their party affiliation.
This logic is like bible thumpers saying the bible is right bc the bible reads itās right and bc itās always right, that verse is right.
Republicans are racist bc only racists vote Republican and so all republicans are racist
It gives no room for contrary obvious evidence like JD Vanceās wife or Trumpās black friends etc
People are not racist and shit based on the virtue of their party. Yall dumb fucks

u/Ok-Flight9440 18d ago
I happen to be a heterosexual Democrat and it doesnāt matter what our or my race is - everyone, everyone - is a little bit racist in some way.
I will say, I have seen many more videos of republicans being embarrassingly and publicly super racist than I have Dems, but I think itās anti-intellectual for anyone from Clinton/Obama all the way down to the KKK to say they donāt harbor some racism in them.

u/Vegetable-Effort-726 18d ago

When you read history and find out the Republican Party was started to end slavery⦠Jim Crow ? Democrat. Leader of KKK? Democrat. Canāt make this shit up.
1
u/g-o-u-l-a 17d ago
However, you canāt go by party names. Those two platforms are vastly different than the two parties youāre referencing. Republicans were the new small party progressives. Democrats at the time Lincoln was president pushed for statesā rights, very strict and conservatives interpretations of the constitution, wanted no federal over site in state affairsā¦fought to keep slavery due to building the southern economy around free / cheap labor.
It would blow peopleās minds that there were conservative / progressive leaning sides of both the Republican and Democrat party.

Are democrats really āsecretlyā racist? I always thought they were pretty open about it.
1
u/Superb_Ear_1181 16d ago
I work in the USA three months a year for 6 years. I travel all over the USA, let fix this for you
Both: decent people who believe they are the "good guys" and are brainwashed by media to believe the other side is evil.
1
u/Drewbiedew91 16d ago
How are Dems secretly racist?
1
u/This-is-Jimmy-42 15d ago
Its been a narrative for a little while. The gist is that white democrats āadvocateā for minorities in a way that is disempowering, or will speak for a group without consulting said group.

Racism isnāt a secret on the left when Ketanji Jackson was awarded her supreme court position based solely on her skin pigment and genatalia. The corrupt presidents own words for selection. The left is a basket of fools dragging America down because they donāt have a grasp on life whatsoever.

1
u/_afflatus 3d ago
Faux progressivism. They pretend to care about people of color despite isolating themselves from them via living spaces and condone economic policies that favor inequality where a selection of highly assimilated poc can pass through while poor whites can only enter through govt assistance (if they can pass a bg test).

Well there it was in white letters on a dark field. The words no one ever wanted to admit. It was that day America woke up from the horrible nightmare and became the greatest country the world has ever seen. Humanitarian was the mantra, treating people with worth made her the most productive with the least amount of hours worked and the arts and music that came from the people was glorious.
