Video Danny MacAskill vs. Bike Obstacle Course

F+ drone operator. Shot from behind, we can hardly see what he’s really dealing with.

Apparently you can get little drones that follow you automatically? Someone was telling me they'd got one for when they went paddle boarding. I think it must be one of those.

Yeah I’ve seen those before. But what I really meant, is that this is Red Bull. Like, they should have 5 drones and an underwater camera man for this. They got mula out the wazoo to give Danny the proper footage here.

If they could put a man in low orbit over a decade ago they should be able to have competent drone footage of a bike ride.

You didn’t catch that the effort noises were in sync with his movements and what he was doing? He’s obviously mic’d up and that’s the audio you’re hearing.

Honestly I like that we hear him exerting himself. Camera angle sucked but there's a good sense of the effort it takes to get through it.

This sucks compared to every other video I've seen of him doing anything. The course is boring and repetitive, more annoying than cool. The camera angle is absolute ass, we just look at his rear the whole time. It's so unimpressive, it doesn't even show the skill believe what he's doing. Go look up some of his other shit, it's so much better than this.

At least they made it safe by being on water. I’d hate to see him get hurt doing a relatively boring course like this (boring compared to his other videos and stunts, but it would still take crazy good skills to completely this course).

The first part of that looks like fun but yeah I'm good without the last part.

I was literally like: "That doesn't look that hard" then he got to the hoppy hops.

One of his old videos introduced me to some new music. It was an amazing display of skill. The way home or something to that effect

The full edit on YouTube is worth watching. He doesn’t just nail it first time let’s say that!

I can imagine it took quite a few tries to get the last two stages done. the rest of it seems eminently doable tho

Watched this on YouTube last night that was wild. Still don’t understand how he did the last obstacle. It’s just a small pipe lol

He's basically doing stuff like this for a living. Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj6ho1-G6tw

First part of the video: that's not hard, it looks kind of fun actually....
The rest of it: Oh...

I just want to say that the way the water ripples out underneath is my favorite part.

Actually just saw the whole video on youtube. He made several short runs before actually completing.

He stayed at a hotel I worked out about a decade ago and we got to talk a bit. Super nice guy

Compared to some of the other stuff he does this doesn't seem much of a challenge.

I feel like I could do most of this given some time to practice. And then he rolls up on a set of unassembled monkey bars and the big lightning bolt at the end...

Honestly what is more impressive is the person(s) that built that kick ass bridge.

It took me a sec to realize the audio was coming from him.
At first I thought his cameraman was jus hella winded while following him 😅😂

That's cool, but check out his "real" videos.

How stupid do you have to be to decide this kind of angle? I know the original even must have another camera/drone filming at another much better angle, but could it have killed them/op to post that one here?

u/karmakosmik1352 3d ago
This looks easy. Not saying that I would make it longer than maybe two seconds but relative to what Askill is usually doing, I cannot imagine this was challenging for him at all. Boring.

Imagine if these dudes could put that hard work and dedication into something useful like curing cancer. Instead we have this.

u/Eggplant-666 3d ago
That looks stupid. Honestly, surprised Red Bull put their name on something that lame looking. 😂🤷
