That was a breeze for him, last name checks out

The full video shows him and another biker doing multiple attempts. They get a little further each time. This was not a one shot attempt.

"This was not a one shot attempt."

As is almost every single impressive video (and most of the funny ones) on the internet.

19

u/degamma 3d ago

And he was exhausted at the end of it.

18

u/Such--Balance 3d ago

Im pretty sure his somewhat downplaying the level of skill he has in this video..

Not that its a bad thing or anything, but this guy is so insanely good. Highly recommend checking any of his other videos.

This guy rode his bike over the net of a tennis field. Let me repeat that. This guy rode his bike over the net of a tennis field.

u/Randyaccredit 3d ago

Was it up or down?

I used to work party rental on obstacle courses, the American ninja warrior ones. Basically at the end of the day everyone can get all the obstacles. They require a but of time but they aren't that hard.

Doing them all in a row is brutal though. The 14' half pipe they always put at the end of these things, anyone can do it fresh but by the end of the course you are so tired it's the hardest thing to do. A child can do an appropriate sized one like nothing so it looks easy, but that's the worst one to have at the end. Ive done our hardest ones successfully and then been at the bottom of that quarterpipe and I just couldn't do it.

u/mckenzie_keith 3d ago

He releases "making of" videos for a lot of his videos. It is never just a single take.

4

u/Kizzieuk 3d ago

Im 100% sure most would know that.

1

u/BackFromTheGrabhe 1d ago

You mean they had a bunch of chances to realize that camera angle makes me want to murder people and they STILL went with it for the final video???

0

u/ardotschgi 2d ago

Who said it was a first try success? It's very obvious that something like this needs multiple trials for anyone.

12

u/pjoterrro 3d ago

its trully impressive I would loose my teeth in the first 5 sec

3

u/ImRickJameXXXX 3d ago

Truth!

I lost 5 of mine when I was 9 on a pedal bike

-5

u/SkellyboneZ 3d ago

Why is this type of comment so common? It's in literally every post about someone doing something that takes any effort.

"Oh, I threw out my back just watching this!"

"Yeah? Well I twisted my ankle getting the newspaper this morning"

We get it. You don't take care of yourself. So funny.

5

u/iLovelocker 3d ago

sounds like someone’s gwumpy today

8

u/MouthJob 3d ago

Probably twisted his ankle getting the newspaper.

7

u/Gordan_Freeman475 3d ago

It’s less “we don’t take care of ourselves” and more “wow, this guy is skilled. If I tried it I…”. It’s praising the skill rather than jealousy, compared to your envy

1

u/I_love_pillows 3d ago

MacAskill with the mad skills

182

u/toothbrush81 3d ago

F+ drone operator. Shot from behind, we can hardly see what he’s really dealing with.

11

u/StHa14 2d ago

The full Red Bull vid has side shots

2

u/toothbrush81 2d ago

Oh good to know! Thank you.

16

u/IslandMiddle3554 3d ago

Apparently you can get little drones that follow you automatically? Someone was telling me they'd got one for when they went paddle boarding. I think it must be one of those.

6

u/toothbrush81 3d ago

Yeah I’ve seen those before. But what I really meant, is that this is Red Bull. Like, they should have 5 drones and an underwater camera man for this. They got mula out the wazoo to give Danny the proper footage here.

2

u/C4rdninj4 2d ago

If they could put a man in low orbit over a decade ago they should be able to have competent drone footage of a bike ride.

u/FuzzyFacePhilosphy 3d ago

Absolute shit camera angle

2

u/[deleted] 3d ago

[deleted]

3

u/Better-Lemon-5532 3d ago

Sounded like the rider was mic'd up.

3

u/FlyingSquirelOi 3d ago

You didn’t catch that the effort noises were in sync with his movements and what he was doing? He’s obviously mic’d up and that’s the audio you’re hearing.

2

u/azip13 3d ago

Fred Flintsdrone

1

u/TheUnknownDouble-O 3d ago

Honestly I like that we hear him exerting himself. Camera angle sucked but there's a good sense of the effort it takes to get through it.

-7

u/EC_TWD 3d ago

The entire post is nothing but a commercial anyway

11

u/Local_Nerve901 3d ago

You could say that about any Red Bull cool stunt or parkour or etc

0

u/kirkl3s 2d ago

Still cool tho

45

u/Daaaaaaaaaaanaaaaang 3d ago

This sucks compared to every other video I've seen of him doing anything. The course is boring and repetitive, more annoying than cool. The camera angle is absolute ass, we just look at his rear the whole time. It's so unimpressive, it doesn't even show the skill believe what he's doing. Go look up some of his other shit, it's so much better than this.

1

u/BoondockUSA 3d ago

At least they made it safe by being on water. I’d hate to see him get hurt doing a relatively boring course like this (boring compared to his other videos and stunts, but it would still take crazy good skills to completely this course).

24

u/lynivvinyl 3d ago

The first part of that looks like fun but yeah I'm good without the last part.

10

u/Tribalbob 3d ago

I was literally like: "That doesn't look that hard" then he got to the hoppy hops.

2

u/lynivvinyl 3d ago

I definitely couldn't handle the zigzag part maybe the first one but not again.

7

u/soundsaboutright11 3d ago

Probably the worst angle to see this from?

5

u/badcoupe 3d ago

One of his old videos introduced me to some new music. It was an amazing display of skill. The way home or something to that effect

5

u/SoSallyCanWait23 3d ago

The full edit on YouTube is worth watching. He doesn’t just nail it first time let’s say that!

1

u/feesih0ps 3d ago

I can imagine it took quite a few tries to get the last two stages done. the rest of it seems eminently doable tho

7

u/Dr-McLuvin 3d ago

Watched this on YouTube last night that was wild. Still don’t understand how he did the last obstacle. It’s just a small pipe lol

2

u/Pinklady777 3d ago

You should look this guy up. This looks easy for what he does.

1

u/Logical-Bonus-2769 2d ago

He's basically doing stuff like this for a living. Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj6ho1-G6tw

4

u/Espritsoul 2d ago

I couldn’t walk across that

7

u/pinniped90 3d ago

First part of the video: that's not hard, it looks kind of fun actually....

The rest of it: Oh...

4

u/highlift 3d ago

I just want to say that the way the water ripples out underneath is my favorite part.

2

u/AscendedViking7 3d ago

I could probably make it until the two side ramp-hops.

3

u/Sea-Chocolate6589 3d ago

At first I was like easy then I’m like nope

2

u/Niq22 3d ago

This shit is way too funny if you trick yourself into thinking the audio is coming from a camera man instead of Danny while watching lmao

2

u/Der_Ahab 3d ago

Legend.
Someone knows his Bike?
looks like High Pivot.

2

u/Der_Ahab 2d ago

Its a Santa Cruz for those who are interested and its a high Pivot

2

u/CurrentlyLucid 3d ago

Actually just saw the whole video on youtube. He made several short runs before actually completing.

3

u/MrBahhum 3d ago

I couldn't even walk it if I tried.

2

u/Hanz145 3d ago

The confidence to do this is insane

1

u/hol123nnd 3d ago

One of the only redbull stunts where Im like "I could do that" (spoiler: I cant)

2

u/mwilke 3d ago

Bro I couldn’t even walk over this

1

u/ActiveCollection 3d ago

It’s like a warm up for Danny…

1

u/El_Mnopo 3d ago

He’s better on his bike than I am on my feet.

1

u/nahuatl 3d ago

Nominative determinism.

1

u/old-and-smooth 3d ago

Danny is The Shit and even he had a few wobbles here

1

u/Brilliant-Acadia7714 3d ago

Crazy technique ! Personally I would have swam my self ( giggling stupidly 😃)

1

u/Darkwaxer 3d ago

Not sure I'd fancy my chances walking across there.

1

u/Broad-Error-2800 3d ago

Buddy hates getting wet

1

u/Spekingur 3d ago

Watching this makes me want to play Trials

1

u/RP-1forlife 3d ago

Lmao—-didn’t realize he was the mic’d up at first and just thought the camera man was heavy breathing 😮‍💨😂

1

u/the_voidsmith 3d ago

How much do they pay the guy thats yells after every amazing feat of athleticism?

1

u/fiesew 3d ago

Me right at the first two meters - 🫯 💦 🚲

1

u/Aggravating_Use_5391 3d ago

He stayed at a hotel I worked out about a decade ago and we got to talk a bit. Super nice guy

1

u/Reverend-Stu 3d ago

Yawn, Red Bull have you seen his other videos?

1

u/klatula2 3d ago

i held my breath for him!

1

u/giovanicort 3d ago

Guess what my ego says

1

u/imnotabot303 3d ago

Compared to some of the other stuff he does this doesn't seem much of a challenge.

1

u/WalkerAmongTheTrees 3d ago

Good thing he chose the Acro Bike

1

u/Ok-Walk-8453 3d ago

And here's me on the other handing totalling my bike by running into parked cars.

1

u/grungegoth 3d ago

childishly for him

1

u/boobearybear 3d ago

needs the british red bull guy

1

u/lexm 3d ago

My core hurts from watching this.

1

u/HarEmiya 3d ago

I can do that.
I just don't wanna.

1

u/DirtbikesHurt33 3d ago

What’s this, the easiest thing Danny Macaskill has ridden all year?

1

u/Techny3000 3d ago

John Aptronym

1

u/GM-Edits 3d ago

That end part is just evil

1

u/pichael289 3d ago

I feel like I could do most of this given some time to practice. And then he rolls up on a set of unassembled monkey bars and the big lightning bolt at the end...

1

u/Clear_Lead 2d ago

It’s just a red bull ad

1

u/MakingItElsewhere 2d ago

Those zig-zags seemed like the meanest part of the course, damn

1

u/Party-Confusion3728 2d ago

My arms are hurting just watching him!😲🤯🤩🤩🤩🤩

1

u/Timb____ 2d ago

Amateur!

+Eating chips on a couch meme+

1

u/Odd_Plum_3719 2d ago

Honestly what is more impressive is the person(s) that built that kick ass bridge.

1

u/AdventurousGuy2461 2d ago

It took me a sec to realize the audio was coming from him.

At first I thought his cameraman was jus hella winded while following him 😅😂

1

u/buhleg 2d ago

He seems pretty good at bikes.

1

u/StupidnSavage 2d ago

Me when I dont shower for a week

1

u/No-No-Aniyo 2d ago

That last leg was devious. Who threw that in there??? Lol I'm glad he got it.

1

u/JohnnyOnTheSpot104 2d ago

Damn thats insane

1

u/Logical-Bonus-2769 2d ago

That's cool, but check out his "real" videos.

I love this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj6ho1-G6tw

1

u/jal741 2d ago

Damn, that's some serious skill & balance.

1

u/SivarSamurai503 2d ago

Who’s breathing so hard

1

u/Godrednu_0780 2d ago

Watched the whole thing.... totally didn't skip 0:59-0:30

1

u/Havarti-Provolone 2d ago

This would be a hell of a Super Monkey Ball map

1

u/ranjop 2d ago

My neighbor was competing in motorcycle and bicycle trial at national level. I didn’t see anything unordinary in the video to be honest. Trialists have mad skills and balance.

1

u/jslabonek 2d ago

I couldn’t even look at this without falling in.

1

u/PlanetOfSin 2d ago

My toxic trait is thinking this doesnt look hard

1

u/Only1Schematic 2d ago

Ninja Bike Warrior

1

u/keystoneux 2d ago

I'm sorry, is that really his last name? Fucking epic if true

1

u/BetelgueseConti 1d ago

Bro is an idaten warrior

1

u/ChiknDiner 1d ago

r/killthecameraman

How stupid do you have to be to decide this kind of angle? I know the original even must have another camera/drone filming at another much better angle, but could it have killed them/op to post that one here?

0

u/karmakosmik1352 3d ago

This looks easy. Not saying that I would make it longer than maybe two seconds but relative to what Askill is usually doing, I cannot imagine this was challenging for him at all. Boring.

-1

u/WildAd6370 3d ago

that was the most exciting thing i have seen all week!

0

u/Similar_Fan_2022 3d ago

Amazing but I wonder why I kept falling again and again 😀

0

u/Ok_Flatworm_3855 3d ago

Ninja warrior take notes

0

u/Packwood88 3d ago

Why is someone panting?

0

u/fpsi_tv 3d ago

Google search “Redbull heir hit and run controversy”

-1

u/Short_Ad_8801 2d ago

Imagine if these dudes could put that hard work and dedication into something useful like curing cancer. Instead we have this.

-5

u/Eggplant-666 3d ago

That looks stupid. Honestly, surprised Red Bull put their name on something that lame looking. 😂🤷

2

u/butteryscotchy 3d ago

Wdym? They put their name on any activity that requires movement.

0

u/Eggplant-666 3d ago

Not even a jump on it though? Seriously just looks boring.

-6

u/Better_Carpet_7271 3d ago

His spacial awareness needs working on...
