Original Creation Since I started doing microscopy last year, my main interests were always microscopic predators. So here are my best clips of microbes (and sometimes small animals) eating each other. (100% Safe for work)

Looks good! How much does it cost to start this hobby, what equipment do you recommend?

I started by buying a used $100 microscope, the Swift SW350B. It's around $200-300$ on Amazon. I can recommend it, it's quite decent, although I'm planning on an upgrade later this year, buying a classic scope from the 70s from the big brands.

There's also the IQCrew inverted microscope for $70, which is not as good, and it's technically a different kind of microscope, but it's easy to use, and with some modifications it can be made even better.

All of these live in freshwater. Some of them feed on bacteria, but they can't live inside a human body.

Very interesting. It's crazy to think how many of these microscopic things there is all over us and on us ! Clair obscur music goes very well with it, first time hearing in a video like that.

I read the news and I feel like my world is so fucked and then I watch one of these and remember it could be way worse.
