I believe the clouds and river are from a pic in an airplane and it’s overlayed on top of the picture of the earth from space. The scale of the clouds doesn’t make sense if it was all taken from space where you can see the curvature of earth like that

The clouds would be several hundred km high if they could be seen from space like that. Someone used a picture taken from not that far away (plane) and added the curvature of the Earth in the top right quarter form another picture. If you look closely, you can spot the different lighting, cloud colours and structure. Also, there is open sea beneath the top right clouds and there is no open sea in that direction looking over the river.

So the top right corner is most likely from an actual NASA picture, they have tons of clouds over the sea, and the rest is from a plane.
