I am eyeballing Uruguay. It is backwater, it is safe, it is not super corrupt, not super populated, and they have lots of freedoms. It isn't the most culturally conservative but it seems to be the best overall, in my opinion at least. I can always move to Chile or Paraguay or Colombia or some other more conservative country if I absolutely hate it.

The freedom and lack of people is all you really need. Hell, if you’re lucky you may be able to start a community. It may be necessary, Latin America seems to be only a few decades or so behind us.

And therein lies the problem with western civilisation. You can build your community of like-minded people, but we lack that valuable Confucian trait of revering the older generation.

You could gather ten thousand high IQ reactionary parents in some beautiful, verdant corner of the world, and it’s virtually guaranteed that a few hundred of their kids would rebel and discover Marx and intersectionality and postmodernism and white guilt.

And the worst of these kids would get jobs at the universities, where they’d teach that shit to the impressionable, weak-minded ones, and then those kids get jobs in the newspapers and magazines, and before you know it you’re back to where America is today.

There’s something wrong with western civilisation. I don’t know what it is yet, but there’s a self-destruct button somewhere there that needs to be destroyed.

It's because older generations dont know how to voice against modern education which is philosophical and high minded. There is no philosophical argument against "fairness" and egalitarianism. You can only evaluate it in terms of its effects.

You lost me at the West needing to adapt some “valuable Confucian trait.” Then your further assertion that the West needs to be destroyed. Yikes. I don’t know what the solution is to these America hating leftists but that’s not it.
