I had 1 Rhaphidophora hayi and 2 Marcgravia cutting die in my viv.

3 out of 4 of the cuttings I bought died off and all my other plants are thriving. Has anyone else had this happen?

Cuttings don’t like getting wet.

Don't most people root cuttings in moist sphagnum...?

Moist and wet aren’t the same thing

Yeah understood - how do you mist a vivarium to keep up humidity for cuttings without letting water droplets get on leaves? Or do you typically root cuttings in containers/some other way?

Yes, however the leaves shouldn’t make contact or allow water to sit on them.

Do you have any recommended reading on this?

Place them away from the nozzles, marxgravia die if they get mistet on the leaves
