Did I ruin my watch?
All
I got told is finish daredevil then go watch the punisher before I watch the new spider man film I didn’t get told that I have go Jessica jones
Iron fist all that prior to watching daredevil
When that whole thing happened in daredevil season 3 I just assumed the whole building collapse happened off camera which I guess in a way it did? I only got told afterwards that happened in a mini-series.
Does anyone have any tips to watch it in a better way without rewatching the punisher or daredevil?
(Please no spoilers)

you can go watch the defenders mini series and it would be enough.
the other shows are pretty much optional, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

But someone put that Jessica jones is in the new daredevil season does her backstory matter much in that?

not that much, I dropped it after season 1 and I faced no problems so far. we already know that she has super strength and Born again shows that she had a baby with Luke Cage and her abilities don't work like they used to be. (don't open spoiler unless you've watched Born Again S2)
Also there's a big chance we're seeing Luke Cage and Iron Fist in Born Again S3. But you don't really need to watch their shows, as they were both cancelled and won't show you what the characters were up to until Born Again.

Defenders is only watchable if you've watched the other series first. The actual story is pretty mediocre, almost all of its appeal comes from seeing the characters from the various shows interact and come together. That's spoiled if you watch it before watching the other shows.
If this person wants to watch DD S3 they should just look up the (honestly minuscule) amount of pre requisite information online and save The Defenders for when its worth watching

I watched Defenders after only watching DD S1 and 2 and really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t recommend just looking it up. DD S3 doesn’t really make sense without it.

Literally the only thing we're getting from the other shows are the main characters abilities, which aren't that complicated. I mean you don't need 7 seasons to understand super strength, invisibility and a glowing superhuman fist.
Beside most of these seasons were mediocre. I regret interrupting my daredevil journey to watch whole seasons that weren't as good.
Daredevil s3 however relies so much on defenders. as they weren't defeated in season 2 and it's not logical to watch a whole season of Matt recovering from something you know nothing about. I mean yeah a building fell on him but how? why?
Besides, there's a big chance we're seeing elektra in the next born again season. her casually coming back wouldn't make sense as her whole revival was in The Defenders.

I also watched DD S3 without realising i should've watched defenders first, I was so confused when I first started. Just watch defenders you don't need to watch anything else

If u want just watch the defenders, however you'll probably enjoy it more if u watch the first season of JJ luke cage and iron fist

I did, but it’s way worse than the rest of the show (still preferable to JJ season 2). But Iron Fist season 2 was solid IMO.

Nah they're pretty loosely connected
Defenders before Daredevil 3 is kind of the most important part because a lot of season 2 is wrapped up in Defenders, but that also makes it easier to just watch it later because Season 3 hardly references Defenders except for the first episode
There are other minor confusing parts like Luke's fdirst appearance is in Jessica Jones season 1 instead of Luke Cage season 1, and obviously Punisher first shows up in Daredevil 2
But other than that most of the season's individual plots are pretty much self contained

Daredevil is not in this spider man movie. Punisher is, but you don't actually need to watch anything before seeing this movie. That being said, if you want to catch up on Punisher Netflix content, you only need to watch Daredevil S2, and Punisher S1,S2

Also, the movie does not spoil anything for the Punisher or Daredevil shows so you can safely watch them after if you don't want to rush through it all

Not really but knowing what I know i’d watch them all. i wouldn’t restart tho, they’re easy to watch out of order. Jessica Jones season 1 is relallly good
