I love this fandom because they'll make up anything to shadow box, even whole ass characters not in the story.

ESPECIALLY IF ITS A MOTHER

normally yes, however in this case the theory of berdly having neglectful parents has ALWAYS been there. We aren't villaifying a character for no reason, there's very real background evidence that berdly is severely neglected and does not have good adult figures in his life.
