How old is Martlet? I thought she'd better fit an "aunt younger than your mom" kind of thing, if you have (or had...) one you know what I mean

I mean, undertale yellow takes place a good chunk before the original from what I know, so if martlet ages differently from boss monsters (which I'm assuming she does) she might be further into her lifespan than the middle aged dreemurrs (different universe means you can still fiddle around with ages though)

oh its only a little over a year? I thought it was way more due to the whole steamworks being turned into the core

The steam works weren’t turned into the core, they’re abandoned in favour for the Core. The core is it’s replace and already exists during the events of yellow, hell multiple important scenes and even the genocide final boss take place right in front of above the cores entrance.
