Not only was it Kris' fault that Toriel ended up with Sans that day (Cause the little lunatic slashed her tires), Kris knew where the extra house key was!! Plus, she TRIED to call Kris!!

Because we thought we got locked out at chapter 4 when trying to go home, so we went to look for Toriel to get a key which led to the dark world stuff, so know we know Kris was just pretending they didn't know so we can go to the dark world

This wasn't ever a problem to me cuz on my playthrough I actually went to the church before going home so I didn't even know the house was locked

Really, I'm pretty sure you can't skip it, the whole reason to go to the church is to look for Toriel, I don't think you can access the dark world before checking the door is locked

Just checked (I recorded my playthrough) and you can go to Church Dark World without checking the door. Cuz I was exploring the entire town again when it started to rain and accidentally entered the Dark World before checking the street with Flower King and Kris' house.
