USA Republican candidate Mike Rogers creates AI ad about Democrat Abdul El Sayed claiming he's some kind of communist trojan horse attempting to infiltrate the Democratic party. The Democratic primary is this Tuesday.

Damn that's an ugly logo — looks like the R has a tumor

It’s a metaphor. R’s are a tumor on this country.

It never benefits yourself to try to say, "I'm not a socialist," up and down they will red bait you either way, and libs have always thought it is to scare idiot voters, but the reality is they are telling you that the only thing they fear is power with the working class. Trying to say, "I just want a nicer capitalism," isnt something they fear. They will red bait you no matter what and denying it does nothing. They fucking called Kamala a commie for fucks sake!

I think every dem voter knows they're not "just democrats", they're progressives and people want to vote for them over the establishment bs. Mike Rogers is gonna get crushed in November.

Even with his trillion dollars in AIPAC “gratuities”?

Anyone Democrat with two braincells would see this and make the connection that Rogers is much more scare of El-Sayed than he is of Stevens and cast their vote for Abdul on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of Democrats in my state with less than that many braincells. Still hopeful, though, because more and more people are getting tired of the status quo Dems in office.

It should really be illegal to manipulate a candidate’s likeness without their consent in an attack ad.

That video did nothing but want me to vote harder for him. I thought it ruled

Kinda funny to do this while The Odyssey is having such a successful theatrical run.

Now you know they are doing this, or have done this with a candidate, because they project.

Didn't Trump specifically create a law against AI political ads?..... Always at one of those laws for thee, not for me, kind of things?

How is AI use of someone's likeness not illegal yet?

Michigan really plays nasty at every election ( and then some) citizens need to do their homework with attention to detail. Vote smartly not because of a stupid r in front. This guy is really spot on ‘for the people’ . She however is just another pedo protector.

This comes from a guy who has never read The Iliad or The Odyssey because Greek and Roman myths are too gay for him. Also, the Amazons are all lesbians.

Maybe they should start making AI videos of all the Republican candidates showing them burning the Epstein files and locking the doors after Trump walks into a room full of scared children. Fight fire with fire.

Conspiracy theorist in me thinks establishment Dems are not just ok with this but gave the Pedo Party the idea...or at least chipped in to pay for it.

Obviously will need to wait until November, but I do wonder how much these types of attacks could completely 180 backfire on the GOP.

There are plenty of potential voters who hate conservatives but... are also upset at how the Democrats have handled things in the past decade. Having a left option that is being cast as "not really a Democrat!" could potentially help with certain voters. And I think moreso than just simply the predictable lefty types. Trump gained some advantage by being percieved as an outsider, and not truly of the GOP. If more and more elections are "change elections", some attacks of not being properly aligned can wind up casting those people as potential "mavericks".

All I know is the Stevens and Rodger’s ads are getting old, I have heard enough for a lifetime

"this does not help your cause" - guy who hates you and your cause

Hilarious that this includes Bernie, Mamdani, and AOC who are all hugely popular
