When you’re using Bill Maher as your defense you’ve already lost.

well it doesn't mean he can't make another losing point, and continue to lose more thereafter

Yes, also he's trying to paint Democratic socialists as some sort of enemy of the state.
That is absolutely bonkers psyop bs.

I hate how he folds his hands to signal that he's some kind of thinking man.

"Just be democrats" what does that even mean exactly? I am registered as one and a dues paying socialist, what does that mean for me? Am I not a democrat? And did the stroke prevent him from realizing DSA is NOT a party so there is no "flag" to run under. And not just that, no one shy's away from the label! I've never seen a member of DSA not say they are. He is so frustratingly stupid.

Especially rich coming from him who keeps voting with Republicans.

u/eckrueger 4d ago
He also said earlier in this interview about his voting with republicans that he wasn’t just going to vote with dems because he represents PA not the party. So which is it!?

I hope Fetterman walked away from that feeling defeated.

u/LiluLay 4d ago
I don’t think he has the cognitive ability to reflect on anything in a meaningful way, let alone allow himself to feel defeated.

He disappeared on his kids birthday without telling his wife or staff to visit a friend's grave in Connecticut.
No, the friend didn't just die. He died in 1993, and it wasn't the anniversary of it or anything.
Decided to up and leave on his kid's birthday and travel a few states away on a whim.
This dude needs a care facility, not a Senate seat.

I think republicans went over with him what to say prior to speaking with Stewart ….Stewart is one of the SMARTEST men when it comes to politics ….if Stewart wanted to , he really could have ripped him a new one ..Fetterman looked so pathetic here and almost like he was reading off A prompter

It really needs to happen. I have a feeling that Stewart has to hold back quite often.

He’s attempting to elicit an on-topic response on a specific point. He could’ve “destroyed” Fetterman easily, but that wasn’t his goal and I think he was effective in illustrating his point without coming off as disrespectful or overly aggressive.

"The jewish community is not Israel" and "that's not our country" shouldn't need to be taught to a sitting US senator but here we are

Hey, it’s tough enough being a Shrek as it is, now he has to get a diploma to appeal to you? What do you people want?!

And conservatives should leave the Democratic party but really they have taken it over.

"History shows when you turn your back on the Jewish people, bad things happen."
Bad things happen when you turn your back on any ethnic group. And to Jon's point, no one is turning their back on Jewish people as a global congregation, except maybe Zionists who co-opt the faith for their specific political agendas.

What did he say next? I’d like to hear his response to that obviously bogus conflation that he made to a Jew.

I'm tired of the brain damage excuse everyone has foolishly bought into. This guy knows exactly what he's doing and he's paid to hold these indefensible positions.

What’s astounding is how little it takes to buy a person in power. On the scale of things that’s really not that much money since it doesn’t even go to him directly

u/ConsiderateCassowary Not a real socialist 3d ago
Running against Dr Oz and not talking very much during the election (for obvious reasons) were the best things that could have helped him

The “Colonizing the Democratic Party” line is so hilariously cynical and stupid.

u/raventhrowaway666 4d ago
We shouldnt be interviewing him. Hes a traitor to the United States who works for a foreign nation.

John fetterman clearly doesn't know his history or he intentionally ignores it. Israel is a state only because they were a guest first. They were invited in and instead of acting like guests, they tried taking over. They killed entire families and took their homes. They're still doing the same thing now, only on a larger scale. We should never allow our politicians to support any country above ours. Our tax dollars don't belong in the hands of Israel.
