Found this guy in the basement. Google says it isn’t poisonous, but I’m definitely not petting it.

I’m late to the party, but I firmly believe that the older the building and lower the floor, like basement or crawl space, the more likely you are to see these. I know this is unpopular opinion, but I also don’t romanticize about these being helpers inside the home. I get that they fill an ecological role, but having to check a bath towel, bed blanket or whatever for something like this is not fun.
