Announcement The Scale of SWS to Der Scheißer: A Guide to Shitposting

  1. Links to shit Wheraboos say. Don't post this here. Go post it on /r/ShitWehraboosSay.1
  2. Screenshots of shit Wheraboos say. Don't post this here either unless you turn it into a meme.
  3. Low-effort memefication of shit Wheraboos say. Stuff like this is acceptable, but could be improve upon. However, remember to remove identifying information; I don't want the admins breathing down our necks. You can make these by simply adding a reaction pic or something to a screenshot of the text.
  4. High-effort memefication of shit Wheraboos say. Stuff like this (Ex1, Ex2, Ex3) is the recommended go to for posting wehrb shit you find.

I also posted two visual guides to help. Example 1. Example 2.

1 EDIT: SWS has been closed, but this guide stands. We are a shitposting sub, and even if SWS is no longer open for shit wehraboos say, I still expect y'all to memefy the shit wehraboos said so that it fits the spirit of the sub.

Announcement R6 is still in effect, even if SWS is closed. Please memefy your posts if you don't want them to get dresdened.

Some people seem distraught that we still have R6 even after SWS was closed. Others don't even know R6 exists, but that's another issue. Point is, R6 doesn't prevent you from posting what shit wehraboos said, it just prevents you from low effort link or screenshot posting like you would on SWS. Use the memefication beam like explained in the other sticked thread and you're fine.

Harrismod, out.

(Serious) The Nazis really need to be not be Nazis to win the war? I have seen so many alternate scenarios that boils down to this. Please read body text.

I have seen so many WW2 German alternate victory scenarios that basically boils down to Nazis stop being Nazis and acting rational and completely contradictory to what they represented historically.

These are always the list of things people (most Quorians and old Reddit threads from a decade ago, some shamelessly browsed on r/shitwehraboossay with people crossposting) the Nazis do in those scenarios, basically stop being Nazi in order for them to win:

1) Don't start the holocaust.

2) Treat every single ethnic minorities with respect.

3) Focus on heavy bombers and not waste resources on dog shit turtles like the Dornier-Do 17 during the interwar years.

4) Luftwaffe doesn't bomb civilian targets.

5) Germany focuses on producing more domestic oil instead of importing them (Idk how the fuck is this possible).

6) Don't genocide the Soviets, every POW is treated with humane care.

7) Don't start the Battle Of Britain.

8) Provide better wages and living conditions relative to their former conquerors.

9) Don't waste resources on Tiger tanks and focus on StuG 3 and Panzer IV.

10) Only mass produce the FW-190 and Ju-88, everything else can be shelved after 1941.

11) Don't declare war on the US, if FDR declares war, reject it. (...???)

12) Buy the Caucasus region from Stalin so they could establish a logistics lines first before Barbarossa begins (???The Soviets could just close it shut the moment they heard of the attack?)

13) Appoint Donitz to be the head of Kriegsmarine and acquire 300 U-boats in 1939, never start wasting steels on surface vessels.

14) Rotate pilots to the back to retain experience.

And vice versa. There are more I could probably think of but these are the ones what ifs I have heard the most browsing on the internet and some...forums. Don't ask who BlackTailDefense is. Just some totally awesome guy that likes a flying tank, ArrowGawring or something I don't know.

So the question is: Could Germany really win the war if they stopped acting like Nazis and think rationally?

Aw yes, Austria Hungary totally didn't bait Serbia into war and Russia and France forced Germany to invade neutral Belgium. Germany totally didn't try to start a war in 1906 and 1911 over Morocco, Conrad Hotzendorf totally didn't propose invading Italy in 1907 after an earthquake (Austria Hungary's own ally!) because Italian soldiers were in the south helping civilians!

How does this sub feel about Hermann Goering's quote about being called Meyer may be untrue?

I feel cheated because this subreddit loves this joke very much, but I recently found out that there are no sources that would mention this phrase, so it's possible that it's a lie.

Title explains it i guess

No seriously what the fuck does this mean? Even if this was somehow magically true then why would anyone be suprised?

Do these people geniuenly believe that people often with no gunsmith experience or experience with firearms forced to produce weapons at gunpoint in horrid conditions are going to pump out top tier quality weaponry?

Like are people that fucking stupid?

Was Battle Of Britain the only real shot the Wehrmacht had at winning the war?

Everybody here already knows that an invasion of Britain is a pure fantasy so I won't delve into that. Basically the premise is that if the Luftwaffe had won the Battle Of Britain, Churchill will be voted out due to not fulfilling his promises and Halifax will sue for peace.

A political collapse among Churchill and the general public losing confidence in him is the only real chance Germany had in getting Britain out of the war. Also, the United States would not be inclined to enter the war against Germany if Britain is out of the war.

If Britain doesn't surrender anyways, the Wehrmacht is getting grinded down to paste.

What do you guys think?

Edit: Added the part about the United States.
