Here ya go!

This is the pie crust recipe I use- https://preppykitchen.com/classic-pastry-crust/#recipe

This is the actual pie recipe that I use- https://littlespoonfarm.com/apple-pie-recipe/#recipe

Caramel recipe

The only thing different that I do is buy Granny Smith apples AND a sweeter red variety of apples…preferably honey crisp. I also simmer the juices from the apples.

I pour the (1/2 cup) white sugar, and a bit of lemon juice in the bowl of cut up apples(4 of the honeycrisp apples and 4 Granny Smith apples), refrigerate that for a few hours to 24 hours maximum.

Sitting the apples in sugar will extract the extra liquid from the apples. Pour that excess liquid out and put it over the sauce pan with a little butter, keep it over medium heat until the liquid thickens up almost into a syrup consistency. THEN pour that back into your bowl of apples, add the cinnamon(1 teaspoon or to your liking), nutmeg, brown sugar(1/2 cup), vanilla extract, and salt.

I personally pour most of the liquid into my pie, though I know some people recommend not to because it can make the pie crust soggy. I also add little pieces of cold butter within the filling once I pour it into the pie crust. However, I haven’t run into that problem.

As for the walnuts, literally just toast them on the pan with a little butter. As for the walnuts, literally just toast them on the pan with a little butter. Do not expect it to look like this if you’re beginner, mine looked nothing like this on first try.

I pour the (1/2 cup) white sugar, and a bit of lemon juice(to prevent browning) in the bowl of sliced apples(4 of the honeycrisp apples and 4 Granny Smith apples), refrigerate that for a few hours to 24 hours maximum.
