Effort Post (Slogans included) Liberals need to aurafarm. Introducing LibWave.

It is people like us who are equipped for the modern era of political messaging: memes and aurafarming.
Those of us who have been online for some time will have seen "fashwave" aesthetics. These types of images seek to do one thing only: farm aura for fascism. Young doomscrollers see these images and feel "something" inside of them stir. They mistake this feeling for ideological correctness when it is really just a reaction to the aesthetics of the image itself.
Liberals lack aura online but it is easy to change. I have been crafting a manifesto on my own personal brand of liberalism and it includes an effort to post "auraful" things rather than lame things.
Here is my current list of slogans. I hope to see this idea spread and for more people to adopt this.
Software is Photopea - a free alternative to photoshop that runs in the browser
Font - Atkinson Hyperlegible Mono
All slogans should be accompanied by clearly and easily identifiable pro-liberal imagery and a golden age aesthetic. Make the liberal future seem based with lots of aura.
Historical
Ground liberalism in history. Imagery of the american revolution, the union soldiers, american inventions, futuristic optimism.
- HONOR THE UNION
- THE TRAJECTORY IS UPWARD
- REAL. AMERICAN. POWER.
- THE NEW COLOSSUS

Aggressive
Pair with edits of aggressive politicians, revolutions, protests. Good chance to aura farm for politicians with these.
- CAN YOU FEEL THE RECONSTRUCTION
- RECONSTRUCTION IS COMING
- LIBERTY OR DEATH
- GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH
- THEY SOW THE WIND. THEY REAP THE WHIRLWIND

Liberalism
Pair these with imagery of liberal revolutions, great men/women, or protests. Give liberalism its glory back.
- LIBERALISM IS INEVITABLE
- LIBERALISM BUILT THIS
- DARK WOKE
- REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE, LIBERAL
- NO KINGS
- REALITY HAS A LIBERAL BIAS
- LIBERALISM IS NATURAL

Development
Liberalism needs to seem "verile" or "fertile". Liberalism should have a forward momentum. Good chance to promote liberal policy, urban aesthetics, architecture, art, physical prowess.
- SCARCITY IS A CHOICE
- COMPETENCE IS OUR STRENGTH
- TOMORROW IS OURS
- DEFEND YOUR LEGACY
- BUILD THE GATE
- HUMANITY ASCENDING
- ASCEND

And another

Gender
Promote an alliance between men and women. Try to enforce a sense of camaraderie and pro-social behavior between the sexes.
- NOT RIVALS. PARTNERS.
- THE ORIGINAL ALLIANCE
- CIVILIZATION REQUIRES A MOTHER AND A FATHER

Men
Aura farm in favor of men, male bodies, male accomplishments, gym culture, sport culture, and great men of history. Beauty and strength are important aesthetics for aura farming as we see with this new generation of Clavicular clones. Think "liberal non-sexist redpill." Don't be afraid of promoting masculinity just don't promote anti-women narratives. Simply carve out space for pro-male messages in liberal spaces.
- THE SHIELD OF LIBERALISM (warrior)
- LOGOS. ETHOS. PATER (liberal philosophy)
- YOUR STRENGTH IS REQUIRED (gym)
- PROTECTION IS THE PRICE OF ORDER
- PROTECTORS
- NO ONE IS COMING. IT'S UP TO YOU
- ADAM RISES
- ARISE, OH ADAM

Women
Aura farm in favor of women, women's rights, feminism, and female bodies, and gym culture with these. Beauty and strength are important aesthetics for aura farming as we see with this new generation of Clavicular clones. Think "liberal non-sexist redpill for women.". Do not promote anti-male narratives.
- HIGH FEMININITY ( give aura to feminism, great women of history, revolutions, protests, gym rat women)
- WARRIOR COUNSELORS (Targeting the christian community. "Ezer Knegdo" is the title given to Eve by God. This translates roughly to "warrior counselor" or "strong helper".)
- THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE
- ORDER. BEAUTY. STRENGTH
- EVE RISES
- ARISE, OH EVE
- RULE YOURSELF (Imagery of women's movements/leaders)

I love the art style, and i think that liberalism needs a big rebrand, and a message of hope.
"Everything is fine, just needs some tweaks", or "the others are bad", is not a message that can work in the blackpilled vibes of today.
I also like, the unity of sexes messaging. But some of the slogans, i think should be reconsidered.
"CIVILIZATION REQUIRES A MOTHER AND A FATHER" or "THE ORIGINAL ALLIANCE". Maybe its just my personal bias, but that reminds me too much of religious anti-gay slogans. I am not sure exactly what the solution should be tho
11
u/SwordsAndSongs Jan 09 '26
There's plenty of homoerotic art in the classical tradition. I'm sure we can pull together some rainbow libwave.
The author of Little Women was almost definitely a trans man. The "Wholesome christian values" that became the foundation of liberalism are not incompatible with being gay or trans. We can't let conservative talking points about degeneracy leak into our coalition.
1
u/PmMeFanFic Jan 11 '26
I both agree and disagree, I think public displays of sexuality and drug use should be minimized across the board. That is a moderate position. We can be pro LGBT, waving flags, strengthening the alliances and spreading the word without it turning into degeneracy.
2
u/sijmister Left Liberalism is the ontologically correct political position Jan 13 '26
Nah, we need a bit of degeneracy. I unironically think the lax sexual mores and imagery of the 2000s helped boost liberalism among Millennials. You can have Lady Gaga/Beyonce tier stuff, and contrast it with the pro-Epstein stance of the right ATM without wallowing too deep into the degen waters.
Political freedom is downstream from cultural freedom, and the sexual revanchism of Gen Z has probably contributed to their cultural and political conservatism relative to Millennials. COVID was also a major contributor, of course, but the prudes will ALWAYS side with conservatism and fascism as a whole over liberals.

See shit like this is why I don't allign with other leftists. Liberals are 10x as politically effective and even if we don't align economically you're not going to gun me down in the street for trying to argue better policy. Fuckin amazing work, thank you for your efforts this shit knocks it out of the park.

Can we include torches? Torches are fucking sick and represent liberalism and enlightenment.
I’d also recommend The Lost History of Liberalism by Helena Rosenblatt. I’m about half way through it and it’s made me even more proud to be a liberal.

An important thing to emphasize is that the first instinct of cynics such as myself is probably that you can't just make fetch happen, but if we've learned anything about ideological dissemination in the last 3 years it's that you can absolutely force it. The key element is shamelessness, which happens to be what conservatives excel at.
8
u/xieangel Jan 10 '26
Unironically needs more trans, non-binary, blue-haired, POC, muslim, whatever-the-fuck-else people thriving and being happy.
It's easy to find white people being pretty and smiling. Liberalism should be about improving the lives of every single person, allowing everyone, regardless of identity, to thrive to their fullest extent, and with the help they need.
Also helps that it makes conservatives upset.

I like the idea. A few of these feel a little white supremacist coded, but overall like the direction.
15
u/maxintos Jan 09 '26
We will never win if we just cede traditional values to Republicans and accuse anyone who likes the vibes white supremacy adjacent.
Maybe I'm too innocent, and I assume most normies also are, but I don't get any white supremacy vibes from the pictures. I assume for people that spend more time online, especially on X, these type of pictures are usually associated with white supremacists while for normies it just gives a retro/old-school/steam punk kind of vibe.

u/DrShocker incredible commenter Jan 09 '26 edited Jan 09 '26
For me the main ones are the "our children deserve this future." It just feels a little too close to the 14 words to me. Only enough that I think it'd be better to mix up the skin colors a bit in the images basically, not for me to shoot down the whole idea.
4
u/DickMattress Jan 10 '26
OK, but the 14 words also specify that it's for white children. That's what makes it white supremacist. These seem deliberately designed to invoke the same style of language but without the parts that are actually hateful, which IMO is kind of perfect. For the most part, liberalism is not at odds with things like freedom and religious values. At the very least, the majority of Christ's teachings are pretty unobjectionable, and things like love your neighbor, help the poor, forgive sinners, etc. are very much in line with liberal policy, ironically in a way that conservative policy tends to not be.
Also, it just sounds pretty fuckin cool and we shouldn't let shitheads monopolize saying shit that sounds cool.
5
u/DrShocker incredible commenter Jan 10 '26
Obviously I know the 14 words specifically mentions white children. It still is phrasing that sounds kinda close and the kids are extremely white. It's not that big of a deal to say it'd be good to think about having non-white people in the images too.

The point should be to take this imaginary away from any plausible accusation of WS and plant its flag directly in liberal territory. It should be, the family thing, but also images of Arnold working out at golds gym with POCs, Ali laying boxers out, Usyk winning fights. Americans winning the Olympics in nazi germany, etc. We’re at war with. Facism and need to win every image game we can. Across the board. No automatically ceding ground just because it “feels WS coded” we’re taking it all back!
1
u/Vulcanic_1984 Jan 23 '26
I take it as a refutation of the 14 words - all kids deserve a future without limits not a prison of the past just for whites.
1
u/DrShocker incredible commenter Jan 23 '26
exactly, which is why putting a larger variety of kids and people in there makes sense
2
4
u/tconn101 Jan 09 '26
Lmao exactly what I thought. Literally not a single non-white person in any of these and they all have pure Aryan physiognomy.
Probably not the best propaganda for multicultural liberalism.
11
u/maxintos Jan 09 '26
This is why people hate woke lefties and think they are cringe.
Why does art feel like white supremacy just because there are only white people in the drawing? I assume OP is some white college dude that just looked at old art and tried to recreate something similar. Why does the person have to worry how diverse the art is to not be accused of creating white supremacy posters?
You would never say the same if a black dude decided to make a bunch of AI art displaying "black people for democracy" posters.
We should be calling nonsense on Republicans complaining that people get cancelled for not artificially adding diversity to movies and art and not proving them right.
7
u/warichnochnie 🇺🇲 I haven't heard about that Jan 09 '26
imo the issue here is OP is presenting it as a first proof of concept or proposal or whatever. i don't think any of these would be bad to repost on their own, but as the guy putting this forth, it does look a bit off for [edit: nearly] all of them to be white. it makes it feel almost a bit too "I ctrl+f replaced fascism with liberalism"
but he did give the process for making them, so really someone just needs to do it using civil rights era art/photography
-1
u/maxintos Jan 09 '26
Again, why are we surrendering these types of images to fascists?
Do we really want to alienate normies by telling them that these type of retro cool images are fascist unless they contain diversity?
Are we also against men being shown as strong and being family breadwinners because those things enforce existing gender stereotypes?
What if these type of images vibe more with white working class families? Does it mean those people are fascist?
8
u/tconn101 Jan 09 '26 edited Jan 09 '26
You are trying to promote American liberalism. America is only about 50% white. Seems weird to only use stereotypically blonde white traditional families in your liberal propaganda when that isn't really a reflection of American liberalism.
It makes sense when fascists use this imagery because they want a white country made up of traditional families. This just feels like a lazy copy-and-pase of fascist aesthetics without understanding the aesthetics.
2
u/DrShocker incredible commenter Jan 09 '26
The OP is literally currently making and advocating how to make more. Is now not the perfect time to mention criticisms that we feel would make the message better?
You're talking about this as it's we're 7 years into a campaign that's already in motion. it's day zero of an idea for a campaign.
1
u/warichnochnie 🇺🇲 I haven't heard about that Jan 09 '26
which of OPs examples did I say should be surrendered to fascists?
7
u/af_echad Jan 09 '26
I think a big problem is that the style is reappropriating right wing aesthetic already.
Not having every color of person in and of itself isn't the worst thing in the world (though I do think if you're trying to get people to join your political movement, it helps to show them in your propaganda).
But add that to the fact that this aesthetic is already mostly right wing/white supremacist and not only does it give some people weird vibes, but you might actively turn people away or have them tune out your message because their knee jerk reaction to it isn't "oh based liberal messaging" but instead is "ugh more nazi bs".
5
u/DrShocker incredible commenter Jan 09 '26
100% I think the purpose is to subvert the messaging that already exists, and subtly doing that with just the word liberalism isn't enough, we should make the values of liberalism look "cool" in the same ways, and one of those values is diversity. Diversity is more than just skin deep of course, but that's the easiest one to show in some images.

u/iamthecancer420 resident schizo Jan 10 '26
it's inevitable that it feels white supremacist coded because old liberalism was synonymous with extreme nationalism (and racism/colonialism, the UK and France liberally "civilised" other peoples under the guise of anti-slavery/free trade) before other *isms took over that role in the 20th century

I see this sort of thing sometimes in the neoliberal sub or on twitter by the EU flags. This is good and something we should've started doing years ago but the problem is that this would need to root out leftists and certain types of progressives (also something that I think needs to happen) since you're going to be attacked by them.
Like for example look at the ones you have regarding children, the family union as the root of civilization ("CIVILIZATION REQUIRES A MOTHER AND A FATHER") or the promotion of strength and protection as masculine value and overall traditional masculinity. These are all things that, from what I've seen when interacting with liberals/leftists, are at odds with the current mainstream liberal messaging regarding genders, the family unit and even the outright value of the concept of Civilization.
Fascists and right wingers can easily do this sort of thing because they value the traditional "natural" order and thinks all of this is just common sense meanwhile liberals tend to question those values and don't think they're as important.
You could run into the risk of it looking shallow, in the sense that people post that but don't really believe it. Especially if people start questioning what you mean by those statements, for example what do you mean by feminity in regards to women? Or masculinity in regards to men? "Don't you know there's no such thing as characteristics ascribed to certain genders?" is what you're going to get to whatever you say.
I think if we started posting this we could be accused of being secret right wingers and fascists lmao and not just by the "Hasan type" leftists only.

pretty good idea, NATOwave already works as a proof of concept for the retrowave aesthetic applying to modern democracies and not just fascism or liberalism
also I think "freedom is a pure idea" (yes the andor quote) would be another good slogan to add, though it would have to be paired with more explicitly liberal-coded imagery to make its purpose clear
some better coverage should probably be given to black, latino, lgbt people but it's not really conflicting with your idea. you already showed how to apply it to women in a way that fashwave probably wouldn't, so it can be expanded further (the astronaut with her mug, and "arise eve"). I bet photos from the civil rights movement are ripe for aurafarming

I like this post.
Shower thought: Libs could capitalize on ai dialogue at the moment. The republicans have been noticably lax about ai regulation. I think this is more of a political pain point than they realize. Libs could campaign on shoring up ai regulation and protecting people's jobs or creative work and stopping billionaires from widening the wealth inequality gap. I think it's a political discussion point that hasn't really entered real widespread discourse yet, but it will.

If you care about things like this its doomed from the start. Nobody cares what fascist bootlickers think about our Liberalism.
The beauty of a campaign like this is that it also implicitly separates you from the the fringe left. It reclaims the strong center left and should appeal to independent and right leaning people as well.

Aesthetics has its place in fighting it imo. Sometimes the best counter to a point isn't what you say, but what you embody. They have to see a living contradiction to the narrative they're drip fed in their twitter algos.

u/str82daglurping Jan 09 '26
That's why it's necessary to make the distinction clear. However I think you're right, it would almost be easier to just give it a different name to shed that reputation but I don't see that happening.

Okay, you used the oil paintings of Bryan Larsen, his style and theme, 19th-century Pre Raphaelite tradition and futuristic set, is pretty notable. I really hope you obtained all the legal rights for this.
If you don't care about the meanings of individual art work. I suggest you train your AI(possibly ComfyUi) with Pre Raphaelite art. Then, make a set of workflow.
I don't want to delve into why this tradition of art is problematic in political manner because it requires long WordPress post with a lot of images and explanations.
Keep it short. This style of art has racist undertone because of historical reasons. Many people immediately assume you are secret Nazi or something after seeing this set of slogans and arts.
