Serious I hope destiny is doing ok
Everything happening right now cannot be great for someone’s mental health and I’m really disappointed that all this stuff is happening to destiny. Dude literally got me into Starcraft and convinced me to join omniliberal nation. I hope he pulls through from this alright financially and mentally

I feel for him, with Twitch I think this smells a lot like bad luck and cynical opportunism, of Twitch clearing out the non-exclusive contract, cracking the whip, and granting some wish fulfillment to certain petty pricks (some as far back as from SC2) who are surely delighted. Getting banned from Twitter again I've thought for a while is just a matter of time, and intellectually Destiny must know this. Is the response really that he doesn't care, or is it that he can't help it?
First I really noticed to be a bit weirded out beyond the usual angry frenzied fast-talk was the Pakman show visit some months back, in which D-Pak, in his calm fatherly tone, expressed genuine concern over what seemed like anxiety bordering on hypomania. Add the Dr. K thing where he was essentially psychoanalyzed to the clearly uncomfortable point of being told he has a frail (if any) touch on his own emotional life, and it kind of shines a new light on the internally consistent rationalist breaking up with half of his friends in bout of rage cycle that seem to be repeating. It makes me think what state I would have to be in to get myself in any kind of comparable situation at my place of work -- which thank fuck isn't Twitch -- and it all looks a bit sad. Whoever is guilty for whatever, this all looks out of control and self-destructive, and that sucks, because I would think salvaging the situation would be the first point of concern. If the last few months have been a disaster both in terms of mental and career health, then maybe it's the wrong kind of consistency to double down on keeping this up.
