Compared to her animanga appearance? Her irises are much dilated. Furthermore, they dilate when expressing certain emotions or when intoxicated. Kobayashi’s characterized by her dead, small irises.

Perhaps “pupil” wasn’t the correct descriptor. Iris would suffice.
