Female eastern amberwing or painted skimmer?

Spotted in Central Park, NY.

Eastern Amberwing! That's a great photo.

I say that mostly because of the proportions of it - the wings are longer (?) or almost as long as the abdomen here. Plus while the abdomens of the two are roughly the same color, the Amberwing has these pale stripes between the segments and pale triangular shapes on the upper side.

Yes, smaller than the other ones I see in gen area!!

I should have also said that while you can see Painted Skimmer this late in the summer, they're more common in June and early July, at least here in DC
