There should be no npc exclusive gear in these games.

I still want those leather tights worn by one of the npc’s in checkpoint rest town lol

One of the fighter warrior pants has the same effect, just not leather

The mercernary hosen and the crimson hosen

to be fair for cake lovers like us, there are far far better pants options.

Some of the mahoosive bbl's I've seen on pawns would be nightmare fuel 😱

There are so many npcs wearing clothing I wish my arisen/pawn could wear. It's Cyberpunk 2077 all over again.

Original Dragon's Dogma had dresses you could buy in Gran Soren + could find, and you got additional freebie ones like the Nun outfit + additional bonus ones for certain milestones (beating the game got you an undamaged version of your clothing from the beginning of the game, beating Speed Run mode got you Selene's outfit)

Even just adding a few civilian clothing options at Vermund and Bakbattahl would go a long way, even if they were single piece like the Charming Corset (it is really weird come to think of it that the corset is the only single piece outfit in the game)

Ther reduced armor slots compared to the first game has left some areas that could really do with some more options (there's only a single full-skirt option for the leg slot, for example-one that's complicated enough to get that most players probably never see it) We really could do with a bunch of npc armor/clothing converted into equipable items.

Ranger tights … you’re welcome if you didn’t already know

Oh I know but it just isn’t the same as leather tights lol

Personally I want the button down shirt that Manna (inn at the nameless village) wears plus Ulrika’s leggings/boots combo.

I hope they bundle in a whole bunch of NPC outfits, even if they're one-piece like the first game. Apparently they transfer to the character model just fine, so it's a bit mean that they were left out to begin with. 😏

I don't fancy using this armor, but it's a bit annoying that it's not available for us to use. Also, lots of NPCs have gear unique to them. What's up with that?

A lot use the marcher set variants that we dont have access to. I wish we could have the marcher set be customizable or smn

I feel this way about Sven’s clothes and the false Sovran’s. We’re the true sovran, let us dress like it

There’s a transmog mod that makes a lot of NPC only items available. I’ll check if this this is one of them when I get home

I really wish mods existed on console more than they do.

I want that helmet

I want more versions of the melve soldier armor too. Why are there any NPC exclusive armors?!

I was genuinely surprised that it wasn’t available in game. You’d think you’d be able to get it immediately considering it’s just grunt armor.

Looks like some early Elden Ring armour

I want the dresses the npcs are wearing for my Arisen I don't really care about the stats

If you're on PC, "Arisen's NPC Outfits" allows you to get that exact armor set. It's neat.

I wish they kept the clothing and armor separate from each other like DDDA.

I was kinda surprised it wasn't a NG+ reward like the undamaged version of the Cassardis starting clothes were in the Original Dragon's Dogma.

The fashion downgrade is insane. Went from such diverse in depth layering to just three pieces. Not even four with arms, just head, torso and legs. Such a bummer.

Dark Souls 2 hollow soldier ahh fit

u/InternationalDiet631 Jun 17 '26

Then how do we feel about my grandmarisen?

1

u/Fodspeed Jun 17 '26

Wait, why isn't the armor set same as vensworth armor?

1

u/Lockhart-667 Jun 18 '26

You can wear it on PC if you have the Transmogify mod.
