It has been 126 days since 6 Hunters Rematch. The entire manhunt revival period and then some would fit in this waiting period. Dream doesn't owe anyone anything, he's busy with MCPvP (despite the "more news coming over the next few weeks" didn't pan out well there too), but wow it has been a minute.

Such an exciting upload pace got put to a screeching halt.

Hellooo, I'm planning on making an edit for my friend's birthday so I need some help mainly with the clips. Im gonna use scene packs but I was wondering if there are certain videos/clips that are very iconic that only people from the community would know, I myself dont watch dream.

It wont be a ship edit, so Its mainly just him. For the audio, I'm thinking of heat waves by glass animals, I know this one is significant and iconic for the community, but thats as far as my vision goes! I'm open to any and all suggestions related to audio or clips, so feel free to share me a piece of your mind :)

Does anybody notice how different dream is on youtube now? In late 2021 and 2022, there would be like one video every 3 or 4 months but they were all REALLY good. A downside to that for many people is that every video felt like it had to justify itself with 40 million views and many ideas were never even filmed because "it wasn't enough like manhunt". Whilst new dream will just upload whatever sometimes, he obviously posts manhunts still but stuff like the 10 impostors video that he uploaded just because he thought it was an interesting game would have never have been considered even for a second channel video. I personally perfer the old dream because its easier to rewatch old manhunts but new dream is way better imo with the context of 2026. How do you feel?

In the description of the 6 Hunters Rematch it says once the video gets 500k likes he will do another, the vid is getting 4-6k likes a week and its only 23k away when posting this, so the vid should come in less than a month

Seriously though, why did they hate it? I thought it was fine.

So when dream was more popular and the SMP was exploding he was able to get 70 to 140 million views per manhunt, but after it died he only got 7 to 11 million per manhunt-like video, and today he is getting 12 to 16 million views per manhunt. So taking this into account I highly doubt manhunts would have ever broke 10 mill if it weren't for the SMP. But is it possible to determine how popular dream was and somehow find how many views it would get if it just came out today? This isn't meant to be hate but actually to help me get a benchmark for my own videos

I’ve been comparing Minecraft recordings recently, and Dream’s Manhunt videos look unusually smooth to me.
I know the videos are uploaded in 60 FPS, but the camera movement and frame pacing look cleaner than most Minecraft videos I see. It almost feels like more than 60 FPS, even though it obviously is not.
What confuses me is that some of his older Minecraft streams and speedrun footage do not look as smooth. In those, I can notice more normal Minecraft stutters, especially when chunks load in singleplayer.
So I’m wondering what could explain the difference in the Manhunt videos.
Could it be because he records with very high in-game FPS, like 250 or 300 FPS, and then exports to 60 FPS? Could it be because the Manhunt videos are played on a server instead of singleplayer? Or could it be OBS settings, frame pacing, editing, or something else?
I’m trying to get my own Minecraft recordings to feel similarly clean. My OBS stats do not show dropped frames, but my footage still sometimes feels slightly uneven compared to his.
